While the press was in the Oval for the signing of the EO on transgender people serving in the military, the First Dogs could be heard outside. So everyone went outside to get video of them in the grass.
That's my work from home struggle. Presidents, they're just like us
@@@
Right? Now they just need a few kids crying about how they don't understand their math assignment or that their chromebook isn't working.
Sometimes I wonder how John Boehner is doing. I bet he's just tanning and drinking mai tais and tickeled to death that he's going to escape ill repute because he exited a high profile position in his festering party early enough.
Hand to god I’d completely forgotten all about this asshole until you just mentioned it and I’m *cackling*
Okay, so I need to find the new Transparency Rules section that was included in last month’s Congressional Appropriations Act. I need to see the actual words of the Act so I can see how it’s impacting my business.
The online versions of the Act are less than helpful. Any recommendations on an online site where I can easily search for this?

They appear to have made themselves right at home.

I’m not yet used to seeing Biden at the Resolute Desk. Every time I see an image I automatically think ‘oh jeez now what’s he done.’ I’m relieved when I remember it’s not 45.

He and Kasich were conflated in my head as one massive Buckeye butthead, and I forgot they were two people. Especially sad since I lived in Ohio for awhile.

I feel like Bo and Sunny and Champ would have had playdates all of the time, yet I can't find any pictures to prove it. C'mon press, that's the White House BFFs we really wanted to see.

The mask helps. Visibly something you would not have seen the prior occupant using at that desk.

Exactly. It’s when I see the mask that I am relieved! 😂

Yes, so triggering then it makes me sad. I hope I get over it soon.
Many once-loyal members of Mar-a-Lago are leaving because they no longer want to have any connection to former President Donald Trump, according to the author of the definitive book about the resort.
"It's a very dispirited place," Laurence Leamer, historian and author of "Mar-a-Lago: Inside the Gates of Power at Donald Trump's Presidential Palace," told MSNBC host Alex Witt on "Weekends with Alex Witt" Saturday. He said members are "not concerned about politics and they said the food is no good." Leamer said he spoke to a number of former members who "silently walked out" after Trump left office.
For some reason, "the food is no good," is making me laugh so hard right now.
Didn't they have a bunch of significant health department violations?

Agree. I think the drapes are a different shade of gold.... but I wish Biden had picked something very different. Just seeing the golf makes me think Trump.
I wonder if Dominion is waiting for Trump to make a slanderous comment at any upcoming rallies. It seems it would be to their benefit to have him make some comments as a private citizen. Might add to the strength of a court case in case the defense says he is immune from anything done while he was president. Or does that just apply to criminal cases? Can any lawyers chime in on this?

I'm still waiting for the cat to start knocking shit off of the Resolute desk. Or showing its butt during a zoom call. Throwing up on that beautiful blue rug. There are limitless opportunities for the First Feline.

If you go here and click on the Text tab, you have to scroll in the menu under Text to "Enrolled Bill" you will see the text with all the amendments and joint resolutions that went to the President for signing. That doesn't include anything that happens after, but at least it's really close.
The Dem’s need to make a hard court press to convince him to change his status to independent for the remainder of his term. If he truly wants to end the gridlock, eliminating the 50/50 tie would be a start.

Honestly I think I'm still wound so tight from the constant shit from our former president, that I'm still finding myself tensing up anytime they say "the president" on TV for the same reason

Well, yeah. There never was a more appropriate auto-correct, lol.

Apparently, many were waiting for the election results to be certified on 1/6 to start their searches in earnest. Whoops!
This is really really something, even for him.
He is also interested in becoming “the nation’s leader on ballot and voting integrity,” his senior adviser Jason Miller said on a podcast last Thursday.

Is there a cat now too? We've heard about Champ and Major, but wasn't sure if they had a cat already or were planning to rescue one!

Well, to be fair, it's not Champ's first time at this rodeo. And he's probably given Major the rundown already.
I LOVE that we have dogs in the White House. Especially gorgeous German Shepherds like Champ and Major. I love shepherds.
