I'm so glad your latest appointment was successful!
I kind of hoped she would have said that eating nothing but meat for 6 weeks was a bad idea based on the fact that you're not an obligate carnivore, but at least she acknowledged that it was a bad idea.
I love IE, but please be mindful that IE is not a about weight loss. At all. You may gain weight or lose weight if you follow the principles of IE. You'll need to be OK with that.

I’m so glad things are turning around fir you! Not just that, but you’re being treated respectfully, with kindness, and with decent and reasonable goals too!! ❤️ So happy for you!!
The “just meat” was I guess only supposed to be for 42 days (“don’t eat anything that comes out of the ground!”), then transition to a more traditional keto or Atkins low carb diet. But in my Googling, even the crackpot websites aren’t recommending anything that strict!
I believe a protein sparing modified fast (PSMF) is a sub-set of keto that is that strict. Intended for very short periods of time and intended to keep muscle mass while losing fat. With actual keto you can eat leafy green/green vegetables quite easily.
That being said, if keto isn't for you... don't do it.

I am so happy that you found someone you are comfortable talking to. I know people love keto but everyone that I know that has done it loses the weight but when they stop end up gaining it all back.

Exactly. I don’t mind making changes in order to reach my goal body composition, but I want to move toward something that is sustainable long-term. I feel like the changes the dietician suggested are definitely geared toward sustainability.
