Not to be snarky, but how else do you get to Catalina? Helicopter?
Actually, yes lol. After the previously mentioned experience on the way out, my mom (who shares my emetophobia) was too scared to get back on the ferry to go home. So we took a helicopter back. Which, of course, landed somewhere other than where the ferry left from so we then had to take a taxi to the ferry dock parking lot. Which was locked until the ferry got back. It was a day.
Ha! I was just surprised as I’ve never heard of anyone taking anything but the ferry there. That sounds like a crazy trip!
Depends on the snack. I turn down most SW snacks. Not a fan of peanuts of pretzels. Occasionally they have the snack mix, which I like. But mostly it’s peanuts or pretzels. And I won’t eat them.
Huh. I can’t remember the last time we were offered anything but the snack mix on SW. I would be bummed if we were offered just plain pretzels or peanuts.
I think the snack mix is longer flights. I think 2/3 of my flights are 2.5 hour trips to Florida. At least for the past 4 years, it’s been 90% to Florida (ILs). I also turn down stuff because I still mask on planes. Well, I haven’t flown in months, but I was still last time I flew.
Suits, the show, is wrong about nearly everything related to the law. It includes the frequent plot point that these private practice lawyers are/or not threatening/agreeing to criminal charges against the other party.
Most of the other stuff I can let go in service of enjoying the ridiculous stories. But this makes me want to throw things at the TV.
I'm not an attorney, so while I understand it doesn't work this way, it doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the fact that nobody uses a computer monitor! lol All these people are just lawyering on their tiny laptops!? Come on!

Thank you for the heads up! We were out in the area around the island for about three hours today on a whale watching excursion and I agree the water was very rough. There were definitely some people suffering. That's generally not an issue for us but if I had to be inside the entire time, and it does look like a lot of inside seating, I probably won't be loving life. We'll be there two nights, so luckily we don't have to turn right around and come back.

I just had the snack mix on 2 1.5hr SW flights, and earlier this year on a 3hr one. It’s the only thing I remember form them recently, I feel like I haven’t seen peanuts in ages.
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus

Same. We have been on 8 flights this year. Ranging from 1.25 hours to almost 4. Snack mix every single time.
We were flying the day before DD’s birthday and they even made her a snack crown.
