I really like Go On, the New Normal, and Partners. I'm still trying to figure Revolution out. I watched part of Vegas last night and gave up, but I may try it again. I'm looking forward to Elementary.
I just cannot get behind Elementary after loving BBC's Sherlock. The writing for that show is brilliant and I'm not sure how any other adaptations will fare.
This. I love Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock so much.
I didn't watch mindy, but I will be based on one preview I saw...she was talking to her dr about going to the gym..."I hit the elliptical for an hour 5 times a week...well, 30 minutes for 3 times a week...I see them at my gym...the gym I'm thinking of joining..." yeah, I relate, I think I will like the show.
I liked the first episode of the new normal, but then they sprinkle in serious shit way fast and I'm concerned it will get too heavy handed with the dramatic stuff.
I like revolution, I can also suspend reality when I watch tv. Also, following @tomandlorenzo makes the show even more awesome
I'm going to watch Nashville...I think that's all the new tv I can take! Oh, and I'll try to catch the life after top chef show on bravo too.

I want to watch Revolution, but I'm holding off to make sure it doesn’t' get cancelled. I generally won't start watching a show until it’s been determined it has staying power. I get so frustrated by networks not being happy with a show that is "pretty good" and instead canceling things like crazy after just a couple of episodes when it’s not immediately the next big thing.

I've only watched Go On - and DH and I like it.
I caught a few minutes of the New Normal last night - but not enough to form an opinion - the mom freaks me out the way she talks. like she's always yelling...
I will now watch The Mindy Project (never heard of it before this thread) because of the comparison to Girls. I love love love Girls. Even thinking about it now is making me giggle.
The shows aren't really similar. The Mindy Project is much more of a typical sitcom. It's just that the Mindy character is spazzy and kind of a mess, and so are some of the girls on Girls, and I hated them, but I didn't mind that in Mindy.
I watched Partners and it was just okay as well. I don't see it lasting long. And I didn't get the heart joke.
The gay man had a heart on. A hard-on. That's a crude but common term used to denote an erect penis.
Oh, duh. Thanks for explaining! I still don't find it as funny as they seemed to want it to be. Which is kind of how I felt about the show in general. Maybe it will get better after a few episodes.

Mindy is a doctor.
The girls on Girls are brats who rely or have relied upon their parents to sustain their NYC lifestyle.
I had more hope for The Mob Doctor but I think it is pretty lame thus far.
Ditto...I thought the first one was ok. then last night I was watching the last episode and about 8 minutes in, my husband said "this is terrible" and that's just what I was thinking and didn't want to admit. I deleted that episode and cancelled the series recording.
And I am hoping Made in Jersey is the first cancelled show because I am offended by the premise.
Exactly. I haven't watched but OMG a lawyer from Northern New Jersey practicing in NYC?! How novel! Apparently someone in Canada made it up.
I know! I am from Northern New Jersey! I do not solve crimes. Particularly based on the colors of people's fingernails. In fact, my fingernails have not been painted since my wedding.
