I mean, Game of Thrones makes me ugly cry. Red Wedding is top tear (har har). Next ep would be the Sansa/Jon reunion, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode 😭
But seriously I cannot handle the Red Wedding it crushes me every time.
Theon’s death had me sobbing and gasping for air
Omg YES. RIP Theon 😭. Shit I'm crying just thinking about it 💔 Also, to avoid spoilers "For the watch" and "Hold the door!" 😭😭😭😭😭
Oh I also ugly cry all through the last Harry Potter movie. From the part where Harry says "How dare you stand where he stood!" Off and on all the way through to the end.
I'm a big crier. Almost any Disney movie will get me. I haven't gotten through the "I am Moanaaaaaa!" song without crying, not once.
Are plane movies the best cries? I have one, too. A Dogs Purpose. Full ugly cry at a point where it was like 6 months of emotion wrapped up in that cry. Wow that was a good cry.
My Nephew Emmett gutted me. I don't know where it's currently available. (20 minute short film). (I had missed the title which made it all the worse because I was able to feel the early ease and joy without yet dreading where it was going.)
In general, things where the fiction lies within a larger, real narrative. You feel the moment, but also understand the bigger implications. That is what makes the Derry Girls end of season one so hard.
I can’t believe no one has said Manchester by the Sea. Devastating.
This is one of the first movies I thought of. And I also first saw it on a plane and bawled my eyes out next to a stranger.
I have also cried at way more episodes of Grey’s Anatomy than is probably normal. I just end up imagining someone I know and love in all of the most terrible scenarios.
ETA: Not sad, but I cry all the time at feel good sports movies. Miracle is my fave as a hockey mom, but also Remember The Titans, etc. Also, I apparently cry every time I watch Top Gun: Maverick.
I was going to post these exact same episodes! I will absolutely skip them when I rewatch.
I have a really hard time picking the saddest episode of ER. There are so many!
But Jurassic Bark is just soul crushing. Apparently they scrapped the idea of it being Fry's mom instead of his dog, but honestly, I think the dog is actually worse.
My H made the horrible choice of playing Jurassic Bark when I was less than 2w postpartum. I often remind him of his error.
Two movies that make me sob are Mercury Rising & The 6th Sense.
There are a bunch of episodes of Scrubs that get me, but obviously the infamous one with Brendan Fraser’s character’s funeral. It kills me every damn time. God, that was a great show.

Sports montages and hype films make me cry every time. Doesn’t matter if it’s my team or not

I haven't seen Futurama in years. I have a friend pushing me to watch the newest season and I can't bring myself to rewatch from the beginning because of this episode. It was rough before I became a dog person.
I rarely cry, but Pixar movies usually get me. The finale of The Good Place. The third and second to last episodes of Halt and Catch Fire.
We didn't rewatch Futurama before watching the latest Hulu season. There are a lot throwback jokes to the earlier seasons (I think before any of the several cancellations and resurrections of the series), but it's also just a lot of mocking current pop culture. As long as you remember things like Nibbler's origin story and the episode where Fry gets worms, you should be good to go.

yes love that show too.
Even the Papouli episode of full house when Jesse’s greeek grandfather dies. It’s like they had to make up for the entire premise of the show with an actual portrayal of grief
ETA - the finale of six feet under and some other episodes too. And never mustered the ability to see “rabbit hole”.

That is the rare movie that I cannot watch ever again because it was SO depressing for me. Usually I only do that when it’s animals being harmed or dying (looking at you, I Am Legend).
