Anyone watch Buying Beverly Hills? I don't have bravo so haven't seen the RHOBH side of Mauricio and Kyle breaking up, but I felt like it was so weird they kept talking about it like it was a tabloid rumor and not true until the very last episode. I googled to see if they actually separated or not because I couldn't figure it out lol. I also didn't realize how many kids they had this season more and more kids kept joining things!

I watched only season 2 because I heard it was good and that there was a lot of info about Mauricio and Kyle's separation (which I didn't find to be true at all). I posted about it in the Bravo thread because I guess I find the show more Bravo-adjacent. It's interesting you watched with no backstory! It's a whole thing.
I only half-watched it while I was doing other things but I thought it was okay. I liked Alexa but found the other two kinda boring. Farrah is Kyle's daughter from her first marriage, then she and Mauricio had the middle two, and then there's also Portia who's 16 and hasn't appeared on the show yet. Regarding the Mauricio/Kyle split, the whole thing is just weird and Kyle is being very vague. I admit I'm not a Kyle fan anymore but the way this all played out on RHoBH was weird and made me really not like her.

Yeah I also never watched real housewives and had no clue who those people were till I watched buying Beverly Hills 1 a few months ago on my morning commute. So does she go in to more details about the separation on real housewives? I know in Beverly Hills she said she had to fly back to film even though it wasn’t in season.
Kyle wasn’t even really In season 1 at all but I guess they couldn’t ignore her all of season 2 with the separation stuff
Is anyone watching the train wreck that is MAFS Denver? This is the craziest, messiest season I've ever seen. I'm not even sure what to believe or whom. I think both the guys and girls are lying to an extent.

Damn, I did what I always do and watch 3/4 and then quit. Should I finish it?

I don't feel they revealed anything! It was a lot of surface "he works too much and we've grown apart." She did drop in the confessional that he did something unforgivable, but it didn't involve cheating or another person. She's not sharing anything and got really upset when anyone questioned her marriage.

huh interesting. I wonder what it was! I like Mauricio 🤷♀️ lol esp compared to other housewife husbands (I use to watch all franchises religiously but we dropped cable and I didn't care enough to keep up after). But ya that's like what the buying Beverly hills was it was just all how madly in love they are and have been married for so long but theyve been apart a lot so it's been tough. Nothing that seemed like divorce was imminent.
I also hate Joey. He's like every rich white kid that just fails upwards due to connections. He's so obnoxious. And I was so mad I don't think he sold anything this season? Just had a lot of listings from friends that seemed overpriced thus having no interest in them. But then Brandon did a lot of work and actually sold a house from clients he brought in and in the end the guy was all "eh idk about Brandon he needs to be doing more!"

I don't even think it's good drama to be fair. It's very weird and messy unlike other seasons (mostly in the last couple episodes which include cast tell all).

I think Mauricio was generally well liked by everyone, but early on there was always chatter that he was unfaithful. It was a big storyline in one of the earlier seasons and Kyle was so mad it was brought up on camera and tried to squash it. But it's not shock a famous rich guy is cheating on his wife, so whatever. Then it came out he voted for Trump in 2016 and his mom is a total loony on Twitter. All that aside, I've also really liked Mauricio (like you said, compared to other house husbands) but he has this way of "whatever you want, honey! Happy wife, happy life" attitude and that always bothered me. It's like he's checked out and just doesn't engage. I know you don't watch, but season 1 of RHoBH had the most bizarre scene where a psychic came to a dinner and got drunk (the psychic is Allison DuBois, the show Medium was based on her) and told Kyle that when her kids were older they would have nothing in common and would get a divorce because Maurico would never emotionally fulfill her and it all kind of came true, lol. That scene was wild and still one of the most bizarre things I've seen on reality TV.
Survivor- WTH is Q doing? I cannot figure that man out. Why did he do that at tribal? Was he trying to throw a wrench into the plans to cause chaos? I don't like him. Why does everyone listen to him? So many questions.

He didn’t want to quit but wanted to quit. So if he was voted out, he wouldn’t have to say he quit…poor loser, I say.

The thing that bugs me the most about Q is that he's trying to control everyone else's game and it's so irritating. It's not just your game, Q!
Amazing Race- Damn, the boyfriends are killing it!! I'm mostly rooting for Rod and Leticia. I loved how the bike challenge was a piece of cake, lol. Vinny is way too intense for me, it's very off-putting.

MasterChef Australia, the best of any MasterChef, is back. I guess they have some regular judges and rotating judges after jock died right before the premier last year. From what little I've seen poh is doing an excellent job

I'm about 3/4 of the way through the reunion and yeah this season was the biggest hot mess of all. I'm also a bit surprised they're already advertising a new season. Maybe because this one dragged out soooo much longer with the late start wedding?
I still don't totally understand what the pact was that they made? What to pretend like they weren't having as many issues and basically weren't divorced a week in? I agree it's so hard to follow who to believe. I wanted to like and believe Emily, but she was so childish on the reunion. I know Brennan's an a$$ but they're both just so awful. While I get why she'd also want to contact Brennan's new girlfriend I think he came across so bad on camera she can just take a seat and move on.
I still feel bad for Lauren, but I think she kind of needs to just let it go and cut off communication outside of maybe an emergency, at which point she wouldn't be the first point of contact. I wish the best for Becca as I think Austin wasn't as in to it, but feel like it's hard to even believe her after the reunion. Finally, I was surprised by the Claire and I forget her husband's name story. I really thought Claire was a little better, but again she seemed so different and almost a bit mean on the reunion. Were they all far enough off contract at that point that they could speak freely?

I don't know how to do the spoiler so I'll be careful here, but I agree with everything you wrote. Especially about the women. Emily came across very bitter and they all seem to be having a little bit of herd mentality except for Chloe. I thought the men were pretty awful but I found myself siding with them more at the reunion. Not EVERYTHING they say can be a lie. C'mon.
