If they're short, I think it's fine. NMS though. I am not a fan of french mani's or pedi's, I prefer to have a color when I do my nails, and especially on my toes. I still voted No.
I don't understand why people think a regular " short" French pedi is gross? I mean can you really clip your toenails so short you can't see white? I can always see white no matter how short my nails are.
OK, who are the people voting yes? Explain yourselves!
They look clean and tidy. They "go" with everything; they don't clash with any outfit colors. The last a long time. But, I agree, they only good with really short toe nails.
If the toe nails are short then I don't think it looks bad.
I agree with this. If the nails are short, then it doesn't bother me. The earlier picture is just gross, but that's no matter what color of polish was used.
And I do like more bold or bright colors on toenails!
I prefer bright polish on my toes, but I don't find french pedicures gross. Just not my style.
Mine are currently a fuschia confetti. First time I've ever one anything like that, so yay for vacation spa impulse splurges. The girl in line at the bank today was doing neon pink toes, another woman about my age was rocking the light silvery-blue sparkle at the ice cream shop. I felt a bit less self-conscious about my bling then.
I don't think they are gross, but I do think they are dated and kid of weird looking. I got one once or twice years ago. It is not something I would do now.
this.
I did notice my sister, who is 30 and very in style, had one yesterday. I agree they are still common in the NE for whatever reason.
If the toe nails are short then I don't think it looks bad.
I like how these look, but the ones above are disgusting. I can't stand to have long toe nails. I never get a french on mine, but I like the look. I really like a french on fingernails also. I could never cut my nails short enough that there was no white showing without them bleeding and being in pain.
