Rikki - that's a beautiful scarf, where is it from?
To the OP, I don't know if I can answer this. When we sold our house we told ourselves we could each splurge on one item. I ended up putting the money into the bank because I had a hard time spending that much for one item for myself. Some things I had considered though: diamond studs, a nice trench, or a nice leather bag.
This scarf (I almost bought it last week, I probably will get it this weekend-- the colors are so gorgeous IRL) and a bunch of Lululemon cause some of mine is getting pretty old.
That scarf is so pretty!
I'd buy a clarisonic (I plan on buying one next month anyways) Then a whole new wardrobe and some shoes.

Oooh, this is fun. I’d get a massage. Then a few new dresses and shoes. A haircut, color, treatment. Probably get my nails done since it’s been >5mo since the last. Then I’d use the rest to buy myself a second wedding ring. I like the look of bands on each side. That, or an iPad.

First priority would be to put it toward a hot tub at our new house when we eventually get it. (Hope that doesn't count as "for the house" or "for DH", we both really want it.)
The sad part of this is that I just got a bonus check. Post tax amount was about $920. I put every cent of it into our savings account so we can buy a house next year.
However, if I wasn't so boring and predictable, I would absolutely buy myself a new wardrobe. I could really use some new work clothes and workout gear. I desperately need pants for the coming winter.
ETA: Oh, and new shoes! Ugh. Now I want my bonus money back! I need winter boots.

Is a vacation considered tangible? If so, then that's what I would pick. If that doesn't count, then I would pick new shelving unit for our master bedroom closet. I want one of those closet systems.
I would buy shoes, a nice purse, and clothes. Sadly, I got like 5K of "free" money in the form of an unexpected bonus at work and put it all in savings. I'm boring!
