I haven't replaced our comforter set in over 7 years. It's worn, but ooooh so comfortable. However, last night DH accidentally tore the comforter pretty badly.
So, tomorrow I'm off to buy new bedding!
Where should I look? I'm excited for something new and fresh to liven up our bedroom!
Any store suggestions? Who would have the most inventory to choose from?

I looked for a really long time to find the bedding that DH and I finally settled on. We ended up going with a set by Vera Wang (whatever her inexpensive label is) from Khols. I don't normally go to Khols, but they had a pretty nice variety, and I absolutely love the set we decided on! Otherwise I would probably look at Macy's.
TJ Maxx, Marshall's. I hunt until I find something I like. I refuse to pay $200+ for bedding. I always find great stuff at discount stores for like $50-$99.

Ross is a great place to get high thread count sheets for cheap. For quilts, comforters or duvets, it just comes down to wherever has the style I like best.

I recently got new sheets from Walmart because we got a new bed (it's a queen, we previously had a full) and I just wanted some sheets that work for now. We get married next year so maybe someone will be nice and buy us the nice sheets I want from BB&B (the silk beech ones.. soooo soft!). The comforter I can't remember where I got it but for some reason I think it was Ikea? The duvet cover is from BB&B.
We also have gotten sheets at Costco. My comforter set was a purchase off e-bay back in the day. I've done TJMaxx for one girl's room, JCP for the guest room. Another vote for Macy's Home Collection. I've also hit Target for the other girl's room and Disney Princess bedding from Target and Fred Meyer (Kroger's). BB&B is okay and we've occasionally found something there.
I love my restoration hardware bedding. I hate pottery barn bedding and have not had good luck with Target either. For the new house I ordered guest room bedding from Annette Tatum bedding but haven't gotten a chance to check out quality yet.
