mk, i'd like to throw you a birthday party. for YOUR birthday, and NOT lump it into thanksgiving.

your birthday is on a sat this year, does friday work? non-crazy nexties are invited. we can have it either at my house, where we play games, pin the tail on the donkey, balloon animals, have some cake (where it's not a pumpkin pie with a candle in it).....or we can go out somewhere, but it'd probably be pretty busy anywhere with christmas shopping around that time....whatever you'd like.

I'd be down for a bday gtg, but I'm not the only nextie with a holiday birthday. Don't we have 2 the week of Christmas? Could we have a shared "my birthday is not the same as the holiday is falls next to" party?

MGoss probably won't want to come if it's on Apple Cup day though. She'll be too busy drowning her sorrows after watching her dawgs walk out of Martin Stadium with their tails between their legs I kid! No really, I do... dang cougs.

yes, but i think is this the 3rd year i've seen you mention it, and it always makes me sad. fiddles said she's the same way for christmas...but..........i don't know fiddles yet. she could be craycray . if she's non crazy, we can have a party for her too. but hers would have to be in december, since isn't that the point? nobody celebrates your birthday on/near your birthday bc of the holiday.

Have I really complained about it 3 years in a row? That's a lotta complaining I'm sorry!

I've never cared about the timing of celebrating my birthday, it's more the idea that I make a point to go to everyone else's party, but when mine rolls around, everyone's too busy. But that's my flaky friends, it's no fault of the nexties, who are always awesome. Crazy or otherwise. If Black Canary and Fiddles are up for it too, I'd be very happy to adjust the date to celebrate with them.
