and I'm peeved with dh. He keeps walking to work, which is fine, but it means he gets home late and I want him home at the normal time so I can have a break.
I totally would if baby wasn't eating or already asleep which she usually is.
what I need to do is take his car in to get cleaned and all nice so he won't hate driving it. On the days I don't have plans to go out he drives our nice car, and now he hates the beater car.

H normally comes home for lunch, but when he doesn't my whole day is off!
We're having new flooring installed in our family room on Tuesday. I could not be more excited, but I am not looking forward to clearing the room this weekend.
We are having a birthday party for the kids in our parent group tomorrow Five two-year-olds! I can't wait.
While trying to entice someone to hang out with her at 3:00 am, my daughter was in her crib whining, "I need daddy. I need mommy. I need Penny (dog). I need Elsa (cat). Elsa cat, come right here. Pennie, come right here."
To reiterate my anger from the "diaper recommendations" post, we used Seventh Generation since day 1. I don't know what they changed recently but they fucking suck donkey balls now. Chemical balls all over, and they leak like a sieve. Just today, THREE have leaked all over his clothes and ALL THREE of his sleep sacks. So now he's napping in my arms instead of the crib when I should be making dinner. DH is making it, but he's never made this particular meal before so it will suck. DAMN YOU Seventh Generation.
I bought a pack of Pampers Cruisers today. We'll see how they fair.
I saw my OB today for my annual and was reminded again why I'm going to try and make a 25 mile trek (each way) to continue to use her for the eventual baby #2. She is just the best and I actually miss seeing her every month as I had to during pregnancy.
H watched J for a good chunk of the day so I could run a slew of errands and it was such a nice time for all of us. They got some fun bonding time (and a trip to Costco!) and I got to run around dressed like a real woman with jewelry and everything.
Layla is one today! Cpr class finished at 3 pm today. Awesome. My boss offered me a new job for December. Same job, different location. 3 days a week (7-6) and NO weekends! 7am is early, but worth it.

My husband is on leave starting Monday and doesn't have to go back until after Thanksgiving. I'm so relieved to not be alone with the babies 70 hours a week. I'm praying that by the time he goes back to work, the babies will sync up one of their naps so I can get a break during the day. I'm exhausted.
I pray for you too. And I dont even believe in God. That must be so hard!
Another. This is the 3rd time in the last 2hrs ds has woken up. We are not in for a fun night
Have you given Tylenol? I always assume pain when he's really unsettled.
Hang in there. One night at a time. Tell DH he should plan to get up early tomorrow so you can sleep a few hours in the morning (I always felt like I'd survive another day if I could sleep from 7 - 9:30).
I'm starting this to tell you that Owen finally STTN. I slept 11 - 6 and didn't get out of bed and it was GLORIOUS. The first time ever in very near 18 months (and honestly, I had to pee when pregnant, so well over 2 years).
Token, that's GREAT! Any idea why he wasn't STTN sooner?
My random: Little E is starting the hard-core separation anxiety phase and while it melts my heart that he wants "Mommy", it's also a little frustrating b/c he throws a fit every time I walk out of a room (like a hysterical fit, OMG). Poor little buddy.
One of my nipples has started turning white and stinging briefly after every feeding. It's annoying and my nursing group with the LC isn't until Wednesday.
My supply seems to be dwindling at 6 months. Part of me is sad and wants to try and boost it, the other part of me wants o introduce formula. I'm tired of pumping and having my life scheduled around feedings, pumping, etc. I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

Have you checked inside baby's mouth for thrush?
ETA: I apologize if that's very basic. I don't want you to delay meds and be in pain if it's as simple as your doc calling in a script for yeast.
I don't think it's thrush because it goes away after a few minutes. Kellymom leads me to believe it's blanching, probably because his latch has been a little lazy lately.

Ojo, force them on the same schedule even if the first couple days are nuts. You will go insane if they aren't on the same sleeping and eating schedule. Mine are and I still go nuts.

Cause he's a wiener.
We were up twice last night (1 am and 5:30 am).
If anyone suggests sleep training like it's a magic bullet I've never heard of, I will assume you are also a wiener.

That is the one thing I look forward to on the weekend is dh takes him after his 7-8am wake-up and I get a 3 hrs nap.
For the record, he was up every 1.5hrs until 4am, when he decided 30mins was going to be the new interval.
I am getting my hair cut today and we're also heading to the jewelry store to buy the ring I wanted for my birthday so we have a nice day planned at least
I'm thinking we'll also go to bed at 8pm with Scott
