Ha! I will make you all feel good about yourselves.
S- Pizza at my sister's house M- something from the drive thru cause I have my riding lesson T- Whatever I can eat at my friend's house cause she is having a "31" party (whatever that is) W- whatever is at recipe swap Th- probably bar food because it is my "Young Professionals" meeting night F- Um. Probably eating out again. S- Family dinner at mom's house.
I heat up a can of Amy's refried beans and make Rice a Roni spanish rice out of the box. Spray a small baking dish with nonstick spray. Roll 2 tbsp each of the rice and beans in soft taco shells (like cigars). Place seam down in the tray. Bake at 400 for 20 min. Done!
Sat- Taco night Sun- Pumpkin ravioli with butter sage sauce, lovingly made by Brad Mon- Eggplant parm Tues- Spaghetti squash baked with ricotta and chard Wed- Cauliflower soup and homemade bread Thurs- Chili Fri- Clean out the fridge or do what we want
I was feeling lazy when I made my list this weekend, so I recycled an old list (yes, I'm a nerd and keep grocery and meal lists in a notebook).
Swedish meatballs, egg noodles and green beans Ham, mashed potatoes and corn Vegetarian chili Andouille sausage w/ cornbread and veggies
My little sister was over yesterday while I was cooking. She watched everything I was doing, in awe of my single day of cooking plan. She went home and made a pie, chicken salad, and the andouille sausage thing. She didn't want our mom to have to cook through the week (she's 16).

So far the only thing on my menu is trying out a new recipe tonight for sweet potato and apple soup. The photo in the magazine is clearly orange, so they must've used yams. My dilemma is whether to use sweet potatoes, which I love, or yams, which are meh for me.
I'm thinking later this week I'll make crockpot salsa chicken, then live off the leftovers for at least 5 days afterwards. Chicken tacos, chicken nachos, chicken tortilla soup...

That is very cool of your sister!
::snort:: It would have been cooler if she and her boyfriend hadn't eaten all of the sausage and most of the pie while my mom and step-dad were out buying a new dryer. My mom gets chicken salad for the rest of the week. Ha.
At least she cleaned the kitchen when she was done. She usually bakes stuff and then leaves the mess for mom to deal with.
FTR, mom thought it was funny. If the kitchen was a mess, she probably wouldn't have laughed at it.
The girl is tiny, but there's a fat girl in there just dying to come out and party.

I am glad she cleaned up after herself. Look at it this way, at least she made dinner for her boyfriend and herself instead of expecting your mom to cook for her.
Tonight we're grilling out, tomorrow is french toast, wednesday is sauce makin' night. Thursday we'll do tacos, and friday is going to be some kind of stuffed shells/lasagna/something baked with noodles & ricotta.

Yep. That's how we look at it.
She does this a lot... decides she's going to make brownies, a cake, cookies, dinner, etc for someone else. The second she smells the finished product, she has to give it a taste test, then she has a small plate/bowl... next thing you know the pan is empty and she's in hiding.
We have very vague menus. I know that the plan is: -tonigiht, whatever my dad makes us (yes, that's cheating) one night, honey pecan pork loin one night ceasar salads (with or w/o chicken, depending on mood) one night, probably chicken snack wraps one night pancakes.
