Yes, it's a house centipide. Bonus: if you spray it with bug spray, it curls up and the legs pop off. A CW drew one for us one day because she found one in her bathroom.
We used to get lots of those guys when we lived by the water. They are super fast! I used to catch and release them just because they do eat other bugs. They would drive the cats crazy.
we call them icky bugs. we used to see them quite a lot in this house, but after brick pointing and generally sealing up the house we hardly get any. I will find one in the sink once in a while and drown them.
OMG we had these gross fuckers at our last house in MN! They are so fast and creepy!!!!!!! Our cats used to chase them and that's what usually alerted us that one was nearby. They usually hung out in our finished basement but occasionally they would make their way upstairs. Shudder.
