I had a similar brith trauma (broken tail bone, 3rd-almost-4th degree tear) with my first. Just wanted to share, with my second pregnancy I had a very fast/easy labor (1.5 hours total), with only a very small tear (2 stitches), and no problems with my tail bone.
A word of advice with the tail bone, make sure you try to do everything you can to keep pressure off of it and let it heal. I didn't realize, and then nobody would believe that mine was broken until I went back for my 6 week checkup, and by that point I was in so much pain I would cry every time I sat down or stood up from sitting. It took a looooong time for mine to heal, and my OB said that if I had known from the beginning it would have been much easier.

She is gorgeous! If you have a boppy, try sitting on it for the recovery. Buppies aren't really great for nursing newborns but they are great for sitting when you have stitches!
