I have had rosacea for several years. Currently, I use a prescription sulpher face wash in the morning and 1% metrogel in the evening. This keeps the redness fairly well in check to the point that it is coverable with makeup but not too terrible if I don't wear anything. I typically wear foundation or at least a BB cream because I am somewhat self-conscious of it. For skin care, I can't use anything really rough or anti-aging. Anything targeted at acne is out. I also have combination skin so it is difficult to find things to control the oil, with SPF and that is still gentle. I have used Benefit, Philosophy, Clinique redness reducing line and Exuviance (from Ulta) and liked all of them fairly well. The key is sun protection and super gentle skin care. I can use my Clarisonic a few times a week for gentle exfoliation with the delicate brsuh head.

Dark flat or really whatever is comfortable. I am sure people are not going to side eye your shoe choice given your obvious injury. I would place more emphasis on what is easiest to walk in and supports your good foot. Feel better!

I love Ray-Bans. My favorite are the bubble Aviators...more feminine looking than the regular ones. I would try some on at a store and order off Amazon...the savings is pretty impressive.

I have a few that I alternate between. I have a David Yurman blue topaz, a David Yurman heart ring, the Tiffany Mesh ring with the heart and a tri-colored rolling ring that are probably my most worn. I also have my grandmother's diamond set into a sapphire setting that I wear on occasion.

Ames Walker all the way. You can actually order them on Amazon now. I have the knee high firm compression ones and I just now need to replace them after 3 years. I wash with my bras and hang them to dry.

Those look like a knockoff of my Dansko clogs. While my Dansko clogs are insanely comfortable for 12+ hour days on my feet as a nurse, they are NOT a fashion statement. No matter how many fun prints/colors they come in to try and convince us otherwise. However, Born does make some cute shoes that are nicer looking than that. What about a heeled loafer or a pair of plain booties?

For spring, I would like a pair of Tom's. I caved and bought a pair for a trip I went on and they are SOO comfortable. I am also in need of a pair of dressy black flats...probably the Cole Haan Air Bacaras. I want to get a pair of brown Danskos for work but they're for function not style. For summer, I want to get a few more pairs of sandals...cognac, black and a metallic. Also a new pair of Rainbows in a darker color.

I took my UD Smoked pallete on my cruise in Oct. It has a few fun shades and enough neutrals for daily looks. It also comes with a black pencil eye liner which was helpful.

I have mine so that it fits perfectly behind the bone on my wrist and stays put. I really can't fit a finger between it but it doesn't slide around that way. Keep in mind that I have giant man hands/wrists though but I find it more comfortable if my watch stays put and doesn't really move.

That's really pretty! I saw a pin that had a similar chunky beaded statement necklace paired with a simple tee, cuffed jeans and flats. It was really cute and casual.

Well, considering that the only thing that is original of my set is my center diamond, I am certainly not THAT sentimental! DH has a hammer finish WG band that is beat to crap after 7 years of constant wear. I am considering getting him either a tungsten ring to wear every day and keep his original ring for special occasions or getting him a palladium ring to wear for special occasions and keeping his original ring for everyday wear.

I was just in NOLA. Cafe Dumode is a NOLA institution and they have a great website with chickory coffee, mugs, beniget mix...that might be an idea for a cute little gift basket. Also, anything with a fleur de lis.

It looks like they have released a few blue shades for the spring line. I have only seen them on the MZ Wallace site, not at Nordstrom. Hope this helps someone!

I have had platinum, palladium and white gold rings. My "real" wedding set is platinum. I prefer platinum or palladium for rings that are worn all the time because of not having to redip them. Also, you can get unplated white gold but I have not seen this in person. My only thing with palladium is that I think it scratched more than my platinum or white gold rings. However, the band I had I wore primarily to work. I am a nurse and am constantly washing my hands and using alcohol based hand sanitizer. I think that this type of abuse does any type of ring in. I now wear a plain titanium band to work and that is pretty indestructable. I also think that how fast or slow you have to redip white gold rings depends a lot on body chemistry. I have rings that I wear a lot that have never been redipped. My DH's ring could really be redipped every six months. We are looking into getting him a palladium band as an anniversary gift.

I tried them several years ago and really did not like the fit. They were not TTS...then I was typically a 18W and I was all over with theirs. For jeans, I like Calvin Klein and Lucky. For regular pants, I would try Talbots, Nordstroms, Old Navy Plus and Torrid.

H and I usually do a small gift and dinner at home. We'll probably do this on Friday because we both work on Thursday. A local winery does a wine and chocolate pairing on the weekends throughout the month so I may sign us up for that if I can still get a booking.

I am a 14/16 right now. The best way to figure out outfits is to figure out what body shape you are and dress to flatter it. I am an hourglass with a long torso so I tend to wear longer tops and skinny jeans with flats or boots. That is one of my favorite combinations. I also like dresses that cinch in a little above my waist and flare over my hips/bum. I do wear bootcut jeans but I try to pick a top that is slightly more fitted to balance out the shape. I shop primarily at Loft (they go up to an 18/XXL online), Gap (18/20 XXL online), Macy's, Nordstroms and Anthropologie.

I switch a few times a week between my work bag and my regular bag. I keep lip products in one cosmetic bag, another cosmetic bag with powder/brush, tylenol/meds, hand cream, nail file, blotting paper and tweezers, a zip case for pens and my headphones plus my wallet. I throw all those plus my keys, iPad mini (sometimes) and phone in and it's not too bad to go between bags.
