I put some of my indoor stuff up yesterday. I couldn't wait! I will wait for the outdoor things until after Labor Day though. I am in Dallas...if I waited for the weather to cool down I would have to wait until October!
These threads make me sad because any Fall like clothing I buy will be unwearable until at least the end of October. And that's if I get lucky and the weather cooperates.
Ditto. I'm in TX. Although, I do buy and wear cardigans year round because my office is basically a freezer. I want to wear boots though damnit!

I have to go to an all day seminar tomorrow. I'm in HR for an EXTREMELY casual company so I have no clue what to wear. Can I wear jeans with a nice top, blazer and wedges?

What do you wear during the summer months when running around? Kid's sports, grocery store, weekend trips to Home Depot, etc. The winter is easy... yoga pants or leggings and a cute hoodie. I'm struggling with summer. I am also plus size - 5'10 and a size 16 so super short little running shorts aren't going to cut it.
I ordered dresses from Old Navy last weekend and paid for the 3-5 day shipping. They shipped them out in three different packages, and while one of the packages got here on time, the other two aren't scheduled to be delivered until next week. I'm trying to decide if I should send them a complaint because I actually bothered to pay for shipping, or if I would just look like a crazy lady complaining about waiting a few extra days.
Yes call them. I paid for overnight shipping to have 2 dresses here on Friday. One made it but the other won't be here until Monday. I called this morning and they're refunding the entire shipping amount.

I'm such a nervous/anxious person. I accepted the offer with the new company, but they're doing a background check before it's finalized. Obviously, I have zero criminal record, but until I get word that it's all final I cannot relax. They said I should get word tomorrow and once I do I will give notice to my current job. The thought of giving my notice causes a whole other set of nerves to start.

I got an offer for the job I interviewed for last week! I countered to ask for more money but even if they don't give it to me I will still accept! DS will go to day care daily until noon then MIL will pick him up and I'll get him from her after work. I've been WAH since before he was born so this is a huge adjustment. I'm so happy knowing he will be with her every afternoon though.
I am down 20 lbs total! I get to wear jeans at my new job. I am so excited to buy cute new jeans now that I'm 2 sizes smaller.

Oh yeah and the aviation museum in Pensacola too. That's neat too. I actually ran into my ex there last year since he's stationed there now. Awkward lol

Sorry I hit send too soon. There is also an outlet mall nearby in Foley if you have a rainy day or want to get off the beach for a bit. We drive every year from Dallas and its about 11 hours.

It's very pretty, relaxing, family friendly, but there are some good restaurants and bars. LuLu's is awesome. Families go there but they also have excellent drinks and a neat bar. Their food is awesome too. We also like The Pink Pony. That's more of a bar. Huge nachos and excellent fried pickles there!! For sea food we like The Shrimp Basket...super casual.
If you want to go somewhere on the Gulf Coast I would go to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach in Alabama. So much prettier than Texas beaches. We go every year.
I'm not set on the gulf coast we just live in it so I was thinking it might be cheaper/easier since it was closer. But we have the SW points so I guess that opens up more options.
I love it there. We always say we should try somewhere new, but we always end up back in Orange Beach because we enjoy it so much!

I'm getting ready to go back to work full time. DS is 2.5. He will be at daycare until 6:30. Right now he's up by 8, naps about an hour, and asleep by about 9:30. When I start work I will have to wake him up at 7. I'm hoping he will learn to nap at daycare, but I am pretty sure his bed time will stay the same.
