Anyone breaking out really bad? I haven't really changed my skin routine but in the first tri my skin started bad and then started clearing up. Now I'm in the second tri and I'm like so over the breakouts.
Anything I can do besides cleanse, tone, moisturize? I know certain products aren't safe...
I've been getting lots of spots around my hairline but thankfully nothing too bad so far.
A product that I swear by but is stupidly expensive is the Fresh Umbrian Clay Treatment Bar. It's a solid clay bar that you can use as a masque or a cleanser or a spot treatment. Basically it pulls out impurities and calms your skin. I have had great results with it in the past. It's literally one natural ingredient so I'd say it's safe.
I've also heard that sulfur spot treatments are safe to use (Mario Badescu has one, as does Kate Sommerville) but I don't have as good results with those.

Mine has been HORRIBLE! I have it on my face, in my hair, on my chest and really huge ugly ones on my back +o( . Not only are they ugly, but they hurt! My dr said to try tea tree oil. I picked some up at trader joes over the weekend, and I used it on my back (thanks H) and my chest, but the smell is so strong that I don't know if I could stomach it with my MS on my face
I def looking to see if anyone has any suggestions. I have my next ob apt on the 13th so I'm gonna ask again, I have *heard* that natural fruit acid products/glycolic containing items *might* be okay....

I was going to suggest tea tree oil. It works great, but it does smell super strong. The good thing is you only need a tiny dab on each spot. The Body Shop used to make tea tree oil face wash, astringent and mud mask (I assume they still do but I haven't purchased it in forever). It doesn't smell quite as strong as the oil by itself.
Yeah, it's pretty horrible. I already look 17 so this is not helping.
I lol'd at this... so do I, I just turned 30 and I still get carded for rated R movies at the theater... and when I wasn't pg for beer/wine at the grocery store!

I'm only 25 but I constantly get carded for booze. Or when I'm discussing military things people ask how long I've been in and I say 8 years and they look like they've seen a ghost. Yes, I'm 25 and enlisted at 17. 8 years.

Luckily, my breakouts have been no worse than normal so far. Some ladies on S&B have been talking about Paula's Choice products, so if my face gets bad I'm going to look into those products.
Also, the only ingredient my doc told me to avoid was hydroquinone. She said salicylic acid is fine. She seems pretty laid back, which I appreciate. She also told me I don't have to microwave my cold cuts
