My 10yr HS reunion will be coming up and so I was thinking about this. I wonder if other people are similar to me or have a really different view on the whole thing. Again, there are way too many options for this and it will only let me do 8, so I tried to make a spectrum of choices.
I don't know if what cool really means as an adult, but I think I've definitely come a long way since high school. I'm still a bit on the nerdy side, but much more into fashion, etc., and now have friends asking me for fashion advice, etc.
I wasn't cool, I didn't really fit any 'mold' but I know I wasn't happy with who I am, I was very insecure. Now I'm much more secure with who I am as a person.
This! I was friends with popular people, but I wasn't popular - I was shy, and geeky. Now, I feel like I've got a handle on things a bit more, very very content with where I am at in life My 10 year reunion will be in 2014.
i was pretty popular in school. i think now i'm kinda popular.. but to be honest, i odn't even know what that means as an adult. i think i'm pretty cool.
My answer: I was a geek then and I think I've struck a nice balance between being cool and a geek. I use the word 'cool' because it's kind of a catch-all, but compared to how I was in high school, I like myself better now. I'm more confident and know what to do with my hair, lol. I still fall in the geek category though since I'm in science
