I just left sephora $70 poorer. I bought the urban decay naked foundation and got the buffing brush too. I really like the foundation but I'm having buyer's remorse about the brush. I have a flat brush that I've used for years but I feel like it paints the makeup on. Still, I feel silly spending extra money on a brush when I already have one. So will someone please tell me I'm not the only one who gets talked into extras at Sephora.
I was actually just going in for samples so I really failed miserably at my sephora trip.
I bought the optical blurring brush. It's the brush the associate used to apply the foundation. I see it has good reviews on the UD site. Here's the link.
Kore, I feel dumb. I can use that brush for liquid too?
It is my favorite!
Yep! It's pretty small. They have 3 sizes--this one, a bigger one, & a smaller one meant for concealer. I put a little foundation on the back of my hand, dab the brush into it, then brush it into my face in a circular motion til it's blended in. I also use this brush with the Benefit Eye Bright. I buff it out after I blend it with my fingers. It's great.

All the time! I walk in for one small thing, and walk out with four other things all the time....
But hey, give it a shot. If its not amazing at home, take it back for a refund (just keep your receipt; no receipt then you get store credit).

Thanks for the reminder on the receipt. I have a bad habit of piling those all together and tossing them mindlessly. I was pretty happy with my face today so it may be a keeper. The brush feels good on my face so that was a plus.
I have had my fancy powder brush (it is Fresh -- not sure if they even make brushes anymore) for at least 5 years, and I plan on having it for many more. I'd say that it was well worth it based on the cost per use.
