I don't care if you wear shoes in the house; weddings should be open bar; MB loves Ches; Tamb wants a llama farm with RIP; simple human trash cans are fine by me but I'm too cheap to buy one; at present Cjoy is my vote for funniest MLer, but Melinda and Huber crack me up too. Creepy lurker here. I wasn't going to post because then I really will get NO work done at work, but this whole switching boards fuck-up has got me concerned that one day, when I do want to post, I won't be able to find anyone I like because I won't be on the phone/e-mail list.

Hi, I'm snorky and I've been lurking off and on since my baby was born about a year ago since I am too lazy to turn off/on java script on my iPad. I don't wear shoes in the shoes in the house, nor do I have a simple human trash can (but it does have a sensor! I hate it).

I mostly posted on P&CE and a little on Health and Fitness. I lurk occasionally over here. I realize there are rules here about lurking before jumping in, but what the fuck. I'm impatient. So I'm just going to jump in. My schedule is kind of wonky in that I go through bouts of being around and disappearing for a few days.

I'm a college professor. I love doing research, and I'm a research nerd. I have a husband, one cat, no kids. I swear like a truck driver, it's next to impossible to offend me, and from what I have gathered from reading this post, I don't give a shit if you wear your shoes in the house (I don't), weddings that don't have open bars should be boycotted (seriously, what the fuck is the point of going if you're not getting free booze?), and I don't know what a simple human trash can is so I don't have an opinion on them.
