So I was at Target today when I realized LO needed a new diaper. I brough him into the lady's room, changed his diaper, and washed his hands when I washed mine. I try to always wash his hands after a diaper change (have since he was about 15 months old) to get him into the habit that anything potty-related means washing hands. I had somebody in the bathroom comment that they've never seen somebody wash their LO's hands if the kid was still in diapers.
Not always, but sometimes. More because we have been out and about, he has been touching shopping carts and other germy stuff, and handwashing is good practice than because of the diaper change per se.

M is 11 months, we just started washing in the sink 6ish weeks ago. He LOVES it & giggles the whole time. Before that I would use baby wipes. They wash his hands in the sink at daycare & always have.

never have done that- unless they reached into their diaper/privates during the diaper change.
my boys know to wash their hands after using the potty now... we started it once they started potty training.... there's no way in hell I'd be doing that when they are babies - having 3 kids just doesn't = condusive to that type of thing
