What fun things do you do locally? We're semi-new to the state and have exhausted all of the touristy things...
And the picture is pretty awesome, btw
When it is cold, not much...we go out to eat and to movies, hang out with family/friends, etc. When it is warm we are pretty active. We like hiking and we live on the lake so we go out on the boat whenever we get a chance.
For some reason I thought you were a doctor, and the MD in your old sn stood for that. Any truth to this? lol
Yes, that is true. When I made that screen name, I was just finishing up residency and being a MD was my whole life...now it seems douchey, so I left it off this time around.

I sort of thought it was douchey too (LOL) so I'm glad you're going MD-less now.
Slightly off-topic, but H always makes fun of doctors wearing scrubs to the bar. LOL
You have one meal left to eat on this earth. What would you choose to eat?
Hmmm...I don't know if I have a favorite movie. I do not have fancy taste when it comes to things like that. Probably something sappy like The Notebook or Rudy (near to my heart since I went to ND)
Last meal would be pizza from a local place here. I love pizza.

OMG, I know. I occasionally have to run in Target or Walgreens on my way home and I try to cover up my name on my scrubs so no one knows I'm a doctor. The novelty has worn off pretty quickly and now I just don't want anyone to talk to me. lol.

Running an errand on the way home from work isn't so bad. It's people who deliberately go to a social gathering in their scrubs who look like d-bags.
Have you ever seen an interesting X-ray or removed an interesting foreign body from a patient?
The most interesting X-ray recently was an abdominal pain in an 8 year old who hadn't pooped in 5 weeks. I had never seen so much crap in one person. He looked 9 months pregnant. It was really sad actually that his parents hadn't done anything about it in all that time. I had to admit him to the hospital to get all that crap out.

Oh my gosh that is sad! What is one of the easiest sickness to take care of?
Probably an uncomplicated bladder infection. Easy to diagnose, easy to treat, patient is happy
Okay one more! Do you find yourself diagnosing your daughter or thinking things are worse than they are due to your medical knowledge?
Actually not really. I have treated a minor conjunctivitis and a yeast diaper rash myself, which was nice since I didn't have to take her to the pediatrician. Luckily she hasn't had any other problems (other than her general fussiness and inability to sleep ).
