It's hot! But, I have a treadmill, and a pool membership
MH is a bike officer so he is outside 10+ hours a day on a bike, with lots of gear. Those bullet proof vests are not exactly known for being breathable I guess I shouldn't complain to him about the heat today, huh?
DH also works outside all day in jeans/boots/longsleeve shirts.. i still bitch about the heat to him :/ He acclimates to it much quicker than I do since he is out in it 10+ hrs/day..
I have got to get better about running super early. I headed out around 10am for 6 miles but in 2 mile out and backs (1 mile out, 1 mile back) so I could grab water at my house (I hate carrying water with me if I can help it)...I ended up walking big parts of mile 4 and 5 and a little less of mile 6. It was at least 80 degrees when I headed out, and sunny. Thankfully the breeze kicked up for the last few miles, but ugh.
I never sweated so much during and after a run in my life...and it was "only" a 4-mile run and only 72 degrees (and I ran at 7:30 this morning, but it gets humid here). I'm just glad I finished even though I did have to stop a few times for about 30 seconds or so each just to make sure I wasn't dying. I am such a baby in the heat.
Last summer I stuck with the treadmill but in the fall I was running 5Ks and 10Ks and several races in between those lengths. This year I'm running a marathon so I'm just going to have to learn to suck it up and deal.
Looks like I'm the oddball, but I wish I had your heat. We got a few inches of snow yesterday. Still barely in the 30s today. At the moment, I am jealous. I had my winter clothes put away for the season!
We've been in the 90s the last few days. Today it hit 93. I had a 5k this morning and it was already upper 70s with high humidity and not a cloud in the sky. I have not acclimated to this weather yet!
I've been getting up and running around 6 am this week (I am never up before 7--ever!) so at least I'm dedicated to running!
Thankfully it cools off this week and I am so happy to get some runs in the 50s again!
It as over 90 and stifling every day last week, rained with crazy wind Friday, went camping Saturday where it never got over 35 (and a little bit of snow!), Sunday was in the 60's and amazing, then back home today, over 90 again. My body is totally confused. But spending a night in the 20's sleeping on the ground wearing 3 layers of clothes made the high temps today not seem so awful!
It was definitely hot here, upper 80s to low 90s, but I stayed my butt in the air conditioning most of the time, so it didn't bother me I can't run in that kind of heat, it's just too much for me.

It's hot & sticky. I have no idea how hot. It's already 81 degrees in my house (we don't have AC). We do have a window unit on the first floor that I just turned on. We still have to put them in 2nd floor. Ugh.
I had been working out at home, but the room where I exercise is on the 3rd floor and doesn't have AC. Guess I have to start going back to the gym for the summer.
College Station, Texas--we've had highs in the high 90s lately, lows in the low 70s. the thermometer in the truck showed 103 on Sunday but I'm not sure how much stock I need to put in that.
this is pretty much our typical July weather. it's slightly warm for the end of May. I expect high 80s, low 90s this time of year.
