I get wrong mail at least twice a week. Once, I even got a freaking letter addressed to Atlanta (I live in Louisiana). Maybe it'd be more accurate if I tipped them, but eff that.
How are you guys giving them the gift if you aren't at home when the mail is delivered?
We leave it in our mailbox with a big red bow on the envelope. I put the red flag on the mailbox up so he knows something is in there. He's always received it, as we have always gotten a thank you note about a week later.
When I was younger, I really wanted to give our mailman a Christmas gift so I made cookies for him. My mom said she wasn't sure if he would take them, but we could leave them in the mailbox with a card for him and see if he would take them.
He didn't and it made me sad
He might not have known it was for him. I left cookies and a card in our mailbox this year and our mailman brought it up to the door because he thought a neighbor left it for us.
