An herb garden, which I still have to go plant. All the plants and the planter are sitting on my picnic table, taunting me every time I go outside. I'm thinking at this point I should just do it tomorrow.
We're all going out for lobster tomorrow. I got her a Kohl's gift card...normally, I buy her an outfit, but yesterday when we were shopping, she shot down 5 tops that I really thought were SO her...her tastes have clearly changed and I don't want to chance it.
I'm having DS make her a card because he writes the sweetest things. And DD has a card that opens into a certificate that she is coloring.
My parents made it very, very clear a couple of years ago that we are not to buy mothers day/fathers day gifts, so we usually just send a card.
My mom is coming to visit in 2 weeks for a scrapbooking weekend together, so I've bought a few things to give her then for scrapbooking. Last year we went to a workshop together and got a bunch of "free" goodies the first day, so I'm putting together something like that this year. It isn't just for mother's day but I am considering it celebrating mothers day.
Flowers from me (blue lilies, they go w/ her kitchen) and a Chico's GC from E. My MIL has passed away but when she was alive, I used to get her fun Coach accessories, which she loved.
I get sad this time of year when I think about the fact that E will never get to meet her. That was her one regret--that she was in such poor health that she wouldn't get to meet her future grandchildren. Ugh, I gotta stop thinking about that--makes me teary.

I just went out this evening and got my mom and MIL both beads for their bracelets. My mom has the one from Kay's and MIL has a Pandora. Neither of them had a bead that said Nana/Grandma, so that's what I got! I'm especially excited to give MIL hers. She got her bracelet as a gift from her sister and had told me that she'd probably never get anything else to put on it, so I think she'll appreciate it.
A card and two gift cards (one for Starbucks, one for Amazon Kindle). She travels a lot for work, so those are two items that she often spends money on.
Gift cards for a date for her and me to see a movie and get pedicures together. She is in a period of fired sobriety or I would have thrown in some tipsy mother daughter bonding time.
Having her over for brunch, then we are going to a local farm that is having a special event to come see all of the mama and baby farm animals! Very mm because moms get in free! ;D
