With all these "work out/eat better/lose weight" resolutions, we should start some sort of daily motivation thread. Like a workout/healthy eats of the day. Or even start a friendly competition.
Just something to help with accountability. I wish I had someone to work out with locally. Such a huge difference when someone is waiting for you at the gym.

I haven't seen it but that makes sense. Especially since other boards are stealing our OOTD thread!
Here's another one: wear & use my nicer stuff way more often and stop saving it for the "perfect occasion." Everyday is special.
YES! I realized all my nice stuff was sitting inside dust bags inside orignal packaging and not being used. Feels like a waste of money when it sits there. I've been using my nice things more much more frequently now and keep them easily in sight.

Oooh....I definitely need to make changes too!
- make sure an item is versatile before buying else end up with everything that goes with nothing - stick to neutral colors, use accessories for a pop of color - use sunscreen more consistently - continue and finish my 2nd round of Insanity - stop buying shapeless tops/dresses! - put more effort into styling my hair
1. I just need to stop shopping--I have other financial needs this year. 2. Continue to choose outfits for the week with accessories on Sunday--I look a lot more put together this way. 3. Revamp my CV--it's years old and I need to put together to be ready if job opportunities come. 4. Continue my 2012 resolution of using 1st person pronouns instead of second--my experiences are my experiences and I shouldn't project those on other people. 5. Grow my hair back out. It's at my shoulders--my stylist told me I don't like it short, but I have to not listen and cut it every few years.
Agreed with Mav! I really need to utilize what’s in my closet and be smarter on my purchases.
Mint-yay for blog! I’ve read some of your posts and love your style/humor. And double yay for a half marathon!! You can totally do it with proper training. I like Hal Hidgon’s guides.
ON WI- agreed! I’ve been trying to drink more recently (lol), especially a glass of red wine during the week. While we’re not TTC, I want to enjoy it!
Pivs- I would totally read a blog by you. Sometimes I think mine is stupid, but I’ve found that I really like getting out my thoughts and documenting what I have going on, even just for myself.
Cary- I like that idea! Although I find H&F to be too intense for me. Prob bc I need to improve my eating.
My goals:
S&BR: -floss "more" -Make smarter purchases -Clean out and organize what I already own
NSB&R (although I think some of these impact beauty!): -Break 2 hr time mark for a half marathon -Eat at least one veggie serving with every dinner I serve/make -Finish my resume and start some applications. <H keeps saying how he wants to move so our goal is to encourage each other to apply 2 at least 2 jobs a week in our potential cities of interest -Save more $/restructure our budgets
