We do solids twice a day, usually mid morning & evening. He's still nursing as much as he was before starting solids.
We're doing baby led weaning so he never had purees or rice cereal.
I try to rotate foods so he gets a variety. Everything listed is steamed if its not naturally soft. We cut into slices, about the size of his finger. He eats:
Apple Pear Sweet potato Avocado Carrots Green beans Peas Black beans Peaches Nectarine Watermelon Puffs (started these about a month ago) Cheerios (today was the first time)
We keep feeding him as long as he's eating & interested. Tonight he had 4 small slices of avocado, 4 slices of steamed apple & 5 cheerios. (the slices were probably 1/4" thick)
Tomorrow we're sending a mix of puffs & cheerios for him at daycare, it's about 1/3 of a cup total. Tomorrow night steamed peas & carrots.
He's tried other foods too, but the ones I listed are what he likes best & gets most often.

What have you given her?
Don't feel bad. We started out very slow & gradually worked up as he was more interested. At first we only offered once a day a few times a week. Then we went to once a day consistently. Then we tried 2x per day on the weekends, then about a month ago we increased to 2x per day everyday. (Yesterday we were really busy & he only got solids once, he didn't care.)
Well before i lurked the other board, i was only giving her single ingredient foods-- beans, soft veggies, rice, noodles, tofu.... But that was it. Since i see that others are giving their babes more, i've since given her some cheerios, canned organic soup, boiled eggs.... I need to be more adventurous!!
