I know most of you already know this cause we're pals on FB but just in case....

Baby Mason James was born Sunday at 9:19 am weighing a healthy 7lbs 4oz despite being 38 weeks along. Actually, the docs think given the amount of vernix on him he may have only been 37 weeks. Totally possible since his conception was a guess anyways.

Water broke at 4am, got to hospital at 515 am, he came at 9:19 am. I went totally drug free - when i wanted the epidural it was too late!! I only pushed for about 40 minutes.

So far we are both healthy. I'm exhausted, but not having a major meltdown like I thought I might

Its just weird having to be responsible for this child all the time!!! I'm definitely mourning my independence a bit. Fortunately DH is as useful as he can be. I really wish that HE could breastfeed
