Saturday or Sunday?
BUT.....
Im thinking Saturday the 20th, but that is also my birthday but i dont care i feel like that is what works. My Husbands birthday is the 13th of April. Should i combine them all. Or just do one for Lou on the 20th? I feel weird combining all of our birthdays into one. What do you guys think?
But if we combine them all, i in no way want people to give us gifts as well. Know what i mean?
Ours will be Saturday the 13th. We chose the 4:30 time slot because you can bring wine and beer to the place. The hubs was sold on that part! Plus that time works well with afternoon naps.
Posted too soon- meant to say that of it were me I provably wouldn't combine. Even if it was your h's birthday I'd still keep the focus on Lou.
I was going to post this! I was wondering if people were doing the weekend before or after, what day they were celbrating
My nephews birthday is April 18 (day after L's) so I have to coordinate with my SIL. Definitely doing it on a Saturday either the 13th or 20th. I prefer the 20th.
I agree with Laouli, especially since it's his first.

I mean my H said that since we have our birthdays in the same month, that each birthday will just be about Louie now. I am totally OK with that, but i just wanted to see what you guys thought.
This will be H's 30th too so i feel like i wanted to do something because its a big one. But dont want to do two seperate things in the same month. Mine isnt a special number at all so i dont care about that.
I think we're going to do it on Saturday. Some of our family will be traveling for the party, and I think Saturday works better. That way, they don't have to leave as soon as the party is over to make it home for work.
I'd maybe get a cake for DH in secret. You don't have to have a combination party, but it would be nice to acknowledge his birthday too. Maybe after you do the smash cake, you can give him one of his own? That way, he gets mad birthday props and feels the love, but nobody knew ahead of time and felt compelled to bring a gift. But I'm also a birthday nut and feel the need to celebrate every one, no matter what.
I didn't know the 20th was a Saturday. We are probably doing two parties...one for each family. Our families are so different and I always find it awkward when we're together. So we'll probably do one party on Friday night (his actual bday), and another on Saturday. If we DO do one together, it'll be Saturday.

Im thinking Saturday April 6th at 2pm. That way she will have just gotten up from her afternoon nap and will be refreshed and in a good mood. She can play for a few hours and will be pooped by bedtime.
Probably Sunday because DH is working Saturdays for now. His birthday is the 17th, we will do the weekend after. I'm considering doing his 1 year pro pics (with a smash cake) the weekend before
I have no clue what to do! Her bday is Monday the 8th. I also took that day off work. So I feel like it kind of makes sense to have the party the weekend before? Maybe Sunday, the day before?
This is stressing me out Her birthday is the 10th but I'm in a wedding the weekend after and I'm hosting a baby shower the weekend after that (dates for it were difficult to find). So maybe the 27th? It's so long after her birthday though
Birthday twinsies Regina!! I am planning hers Saturday the 20th. H is on vac the week of her birthday so if we do Saturday, that gives him the day after with us. He can help clean up or play with her and new toys or whatever
