Yes I rotate, so I pump at work and the next day I might use the pumped milk if it is the exact right amount (12oz) and I feel lazy. But a lot of the time I freeze it and defrost some.
I just feel weird about milk being in there 6 months though I'm not sure why!!
Oh and I have 165oz, I counted last night which prompted this posting. I had up to 210oz at one point but it's slowly on the way down. Many days I only pump 10oz and I send 12 to daycare.
I am the other one that voted lucky bish. My deep chest freezer is filled to the brim with milk. I stash away about 5-10 ounces a day and everything gets frozen on fridays and that is about 30 ounces. Sadly, Christmas vacation thew me off and I have not added a ton to the stockpile lately. There is probably over 600 ounces in there.
I have not rotated my milk at all, so there is frozen milk from June and July. The same thing happened with my other daughter and the milk was still good 8-10 months later. So we will see! I have pretty much run out of storage room so I will have to figure out something.
I had over 300 oz this fall, but got a bad case of thrush. I was only (painfully) pumping twice a day (no BFing) and T consumed all of my freezer stash. After the thrush cleared up, I resumed BFing and pumping at work, but my supply took a hit. This week, for the first time, I've had DC mix formula with my pumped milk.

Mine's about 400oz. I work from home while DH is a SAHD so I'm lucky in that I get to BF X full time. I pumped once a night, once X went to bed, and got about 3-4oz/day. I stopped pumping/adding to my stash last week. I ran out of room in my deep freeze and honestly I didn't know what I was going to do with the milk. I BF him full time and I'm hardly ever away from him so I wasn't using the stash.
He starts daycare next week a couple times a week so my stash will be rotated (I'll send him with frozen milk and pump while he's away).
My plan is to use up the stash once I wean him, I'll give him frozen BM until it's gone then switch to some kind of alternative (we are skipping WCM).
I have a lot of guilt/anxiety about stopping pumping for my stash. I keep thinking What if I get sick? What if something happens to me? And I don't have enough BM frozen to last him until 1 year.

You will probably feel the guilt/anxiety no matter when you stop pumping. I stopped pumping with my DD1 around 9 months because I ran out of freezer space. I though I had enough milk to make it to one year and I didn't. I felt so bad stopping and not making it to the " one year mark". But in the end it was no big deal, I mixed the last of the milk with formula for the last month and it was all good. I think it was okay too because the milk was such young milk that it probably helped fill her up with the little bit of formula.
I only keep about 40oz in the freezer b/c my milk does not last long. It is not a lipase issue - it is some sort of fast breakdown that makes it sour really fast. I get maybe 36hours in the fridge and a month frozen.
After losing over 1000 ounces to the "funk" with Adele, I do not keep a freezer stash anymore.

ETA: no stash. He just BFs and after pumping for DS1 during the winter I am over it.
I pump enough at work to send to the sitter the next day. DH is off on Monday's so I usually serve frozen on Monday but for the month of December he worked 6 days. The baby hasn't been drinking nearly as much as he used to so there has been no need to dip into the freezer stash. I don't think I can donate to a milk bank because I had the Rhogam shot. I think I read that somewhere?
I think I have between 600 and 700 ozs. Madison only gets a bottle once (maybe twice) a week so I'm not going through it very fast. The only reason I have so much is from pumping once daily in the beginning and then during the summer if DH was doing a morning bottle, I would pump both sides out and get maybe 13ozs? I did stop pumping for a few months but now I pump whatever is left in the mornings and get about 3oz for cereal to last a day or so (I don't want to thaw a 3-5oz bag for milk since it's only good 24hrs and she only eats cereal once a day)
Right now I'm using milk that is about 6 months old (it's all in a deep freezer) and intend on using my stash in the sippy cup once she is in daycare in April.
This is amazing. Great job!!
Thanks, I am terrified that it will go 'bad' before I get a chance to use it, though, since I don't really get a chance to rotate it. She doesn't take bottles from me and I would much rather nurse than give a bottle and pump (for supply reasons). This is part of the reason I'm making sure to pump once daily again because at least I have some 'newer' milk in the freezer that I know will be good until June or later in my deep freezer.
I just looked and half my stash is currently from June 10th-August 28th. But I'm counting on the deep freezer keeping my milk good for 12 months (I hope this doesn't bite me in the butt)

I would think it would be okay. I am running into the same issue. Last time my milk was almost a year old and it was still good. I previously read that is good up to 18 months in deep freeze.
I think I've got a measly 40 oz in the freezer... I have a hard time making myself pump other than on the days she doesn't come to work with me.. although I've started doing it a little more regularly the other days since otherwise I get practically nothing when I do pump at work.
