CL/antique stores/yard sales: Rocking chair Settle Kitchen bin table guestroom rug buffet guesthouse TV stand guestroom nightstand
Hand-me-downs: guesthouse bedroom furniture (purchased for me by my parents in 8th grade) piano (purchased for me by my parents in 5th grade) guesthouse cedar chest (made for me by my grandfather when I was about 8) guestroom dresser (DH's grandfather's)
New, cheap stuff (overstock, etc.): living room chairs TV stand living room tables foyer chairs foyer desk guesthouse sofa guestroom bed dining table (about to be replaced with new nice stuff after we totally failed at finding an antique)
45% new 13.5% antique 13.5% consignment 13.5% hand-me-down 1% craigslist .05% found on the side of the road
What those percentages don't reflect is the relative weight of the items. Little things like DR chairs and LR side tables are new, but the big items are consignment or antique.
In this apartment, almost all is new. BR furniture is all new. LR is all new except antique dresser used for storage and a Shaker table that we bought via CL. Oh and an IKEA chair that was used from CL.

I think overall our house is about 50/50, with most of the new stuff being H's because he likes 'nice' things. I'm all about cheap, when my friend and I got our first apartment together, we managed to fully furnish it with free furniture, yeeeah.

informal dining: table/chairs- I bought new 9 years ago, hutch- family heirloom
living room: sofa, loveseat, chair- new and also 9 years old, upholstered chair- consignment, but reupholstered, coffee table and end tables are hand me downs
Master: only new thing is mattress. My mom is friends with a guy that refinishes antiques, and got my headboard, dresser, chest, and night stands from him. I have my grandmother's old sewing table/machine, and a bookshelf I bought on consignment
Son's room: mattress was hand me down, dresser, nightstand, and bookshelf are all consignment
Daughter's- mattress was the one my parents bought me in college, parents also bought crib and changing table, consignment night stand, I stole the rocker from my parent's beach house.
I have lots more furniture from my grandmother being store at my parent's house (including an entire dining room set that I love) whenever we can sell our current house and move into something larger.
living room: sofa - new coffee table, end tables, media center, lamps - thrift store. all mid-century modern our chairs were thrifted also but H just sold them (they were his and he's moving out). i think i am going to regret selling them. artwork - thrifted. this needs to be replaced desperately rug - target - just got replaced yesterday from a nicer one from west elm
bedroom: bed - new nightstands - thrifted lamps - new
dining room: table - new chairs - H had gotten them free from work (he works in interior design). i don't care for them so yesterday bought 4 new ones
office chair - H got free from work. its really nice, but i don't need it and he's selling that too.
So...our house is almost entirely ikea except for the following:
- custom built Mennonite hutch in dining room - imported dining room table from India - chairs around the dining room table (second hand or antique) - my old futon frame from college in the guest room - a few side tables/coffee tables/footstools/bench/chests (Thrift store finds, wicker imporium, homesense, built by me) - the furniture set in our 3 season room and on our deck (LazyBoy).
Everything else is from ikea BUT, some of it is really old Ikea that I have managed to keep in one piece over the years (I have Billy book shelves that are 13 years old and have made it through 4 moves!).
