I'm lucky. My employer pays premiums in full for myself and all dependents. Right now the monthly premium for employee + spouse is a smidge under $2k. When the baby comes, the premium for the family policy will cost my employer $2,400.
No deductible in-network, and a $10 office visit co-pay.
I really couldn't be any more thankful. I have had surgery (some major, none were minor) 8 times since joining my firm. I've had nearly $750k worth of medical procedures covered in full, minus the $10 co-pays here and there.
I dread the day we will have to pay out of pocket for premiums, but know that it's practically inevitable in the years to come. Hopefully my largest medical hurdles are behind me!
$0 for HDHP. I think that promise is only good for one more year though. Don't know what it will go to after that. They promise no premiums for the first 5 years after they introduced the HdHP option.
$151/mo with $3000 deductible for health and vision for 2 of us. We're self employed so we buy our own. We use to have an HSA for emergencies since neither of us really go much but this was cheaper with a much lower deductible so we switched.
Years ago when we were on H's employer insurance, it was $500/mo for the two of us w/ a higher deductible. We stayed on it for a few months then got our own because that was ridiculous.
It's just 2 of us and I think it's $80-85 a pay period. I honestly rarely look at my pay stubs (they are online) so I don't know the exact figure.
We have a $200 pp deductible and a $600 pp out of pocket maximum. My insurance rocks and is a major perk of working at my job (and makes my slow pay growth more acceptable).
I think if we had a kid it would jump to double or more the biweekly cost, though.
I pay $180 a month for health, $20 copay for doctor's visits and no deductible for in-network care. This covers DH and me. Vision is covered by my employer, and we pay around $20 a month for dental because DH wants the fancy plan. The cheap plan would be free.
For Dh and I, my portion is $170/mo. That includes med/dental/vision/RX. We have $300 deductibles, which is amazing. I work in insurance, and I consider myself incredibly lucky after looking at other families premiums all day.
