Ari is an explorer and is adventurist. He loves new things and people. H can be the most talkative baby around but when we are in a new situation he gets quiet until he feels comfortable. H is quite the ham and loves to be in public. He is unbelievably smiley and happy. Today his dr. called him the perfect baby
But he gets frustrated very easily and needs to see me, even if he is playing by himself.

Mia is definitly a girl who knows what she wants and will protest loudly until someone gives into her demands. She can go from happy to screaming in a split second. She needs routine and gets very out of sorts if she misses a nap, eats at a different time or is around too many strangers. She is always on the move and isn't big on snuggling or sitting still unless it's sleepy time. She is a bit of a wild child. I love watching her antics!
Always on the move. He never stays still long. He's not much of a cuddler but is affectionate in other ways. He only let's me snuggle him in the morning when he first gets up and late at night. He really studies his toys and gets so serious! He's a happy little baby. He smiles and laughs so much and seems to enjoy being out in public.
Tyler is a charmer. He knows when someone is paying attention to him and he hams it up. He gives a flirty smile to everyone. He smiles for the camera. He is very happy overall. He is also very determined. He crawled at 7.5 months and he so badly wants to walk now. He pulls up on everything and tries to creep along.
She's insanely social and loves people- will go to absolutely anyone. She's funny and busy and always moving, and is rarely upset. I can't get over how just happy this kid is. She's intense and observant, but needs to be doing something all the time. If she has interesting toys, she'll play on her own for a while, but she'd much rather be interacting with someone. She is always awake- not a great sleeper, but happy and engaged even when exhausted. She is already sooo type A. DH says she's my karma:)
She is great when we go out in public or to other people's houses. She rarely gets fussy, she loves all the attention and is a people watcher. She will be extremely tired but will keep her eyes open until she hits the carseat. She doesn't like to miss anything. Everyone always tells us what a good baby she is when we are out and about because she just takes it all in.
She definitely likes for us to be around and in general she just doesn't sit and play independently. She will play with something and just crawl right back to us.
Maggie is a lot like this, too. She's also an intense baby, really up or really down, without much of an in between. She's not crawling yet, but she really wants to, since she is also not much for sitting and playing by herself. She's also a destructo baby. We call her Hulky Baby and often say "Hulk smash!" when she's beating the crap out of whatever is in front of her. My stepmom and I were talking today about how she's not amused by silly baby games and faces (except peekaboo) and will give you this level, serious, "What are you doing? Are you OK?" look if you try them with her.
A is a super happy baby. She's pretty laid back and daycare loves her because she's low maintenance. They had to move her up to the new room a little early because her little friend freaked out moving up without her. She was just like...whatever. New room. New toys. Fun. They just switched buildings and all the kids are freaking out. Not my kid...just happy to play with her friends. She'll go to anyone, but she's become a bit clingy to me, and if she's tired she's all about some momma. She's great playing independently though and loves to "sing" and "dance"
I can tell she is a thinker, but she's also pretty silly. She's definitely not a snuggler - she likes to be on the move. She loves to laugh. And she is social. She doesn't like to be alone, and when she does something she thinks is neat, she looks around to make sure everybody noticed. lol. But she sizes new people up before deciding whether they are cool or not. It's funny how she'll scrutinize someone.
This is DD too. I love watching her size up someone new. I would describe DD as happy, easy going and sweet. She loves social situations and is rarely crabby. She loves to play but would like someone close by to watch. She looks to us for a.reaction when she's silly or proud. She's pretty flexible too when we are out and about. It doesn't phase her to miss a nap if we are visiting family or something. She's just so happy, people really notice that about her.
My kids are so opposite it's hilarious. I can't wait to see them when they get older. Linus is quite insane. He's always been that way, soooo temperamental, never shy to show how he feels and let everyone within a 2 mile radius know, extremely dramatic, stubborn, and HILARIOUS. He is a comedian and always has been such a ham. He's a show-off and never ever stops. Hardly ever sttn until he was late 9 months. He was nonstop until 3am and I had to throw him in the jumperoo to jump himself to sleep.
Fiona, on the other hand (thank god), has been the most calm baby I've ever known. She cries occasionally, but hardly. She can whine, but for the most part is just amazingly and genuinely happy. She sits and watches everything. She has 4 teeth coming in and you'd hardly know it. Linus always needed to be involved in everything and was so hands on, and she's just so quiet and observant. She smiles nonstop, seems very shy though, but not afraid of people- very sweet. She just acts so delicate compared to him really. She's usually sooooo calm and just plain easygoing. She's sttn a majority of the time since 2 months old, with maybe 1 night waking. She puts herself to sleep for the most part as well. I don't think I would have survived if she had Linus' temperament. I wouldn't change him for the world- he's a nonstop comedy show, but man he can be difficult.

DS is an observer. He's not a social butterfly, but he's a ham around people he knows. He's very busy, but in a quiet way, and he focuses on tasks. DS is happy and calm, but I still think he's probably going to be an emotional kid. He has a sweet disposition, but there's some drama queen potential, lol!
