Sorry to hear about everyone's ailments!! I will jump on that bandwagon though!! After 9 days of a terrible cold, cough, no voice, I'm finally off meds and functioning with a real voice. However for the past 4 days I've been battling a migraine/vertigo. I don't know what's going on but all of a sudden I feel carsick and nothing feels right except being in the dark on the couch. :/
Hence why my Christmas tree is staring at me in the face still like a middle finger.
And, worst first world problem ever- my housecleaner quit! She has a herniated disk in her neck and her doctor told her to stop working. Obvi feel bad for her and wish her well but wahhh I don't want to start shopping around for someone! And that means I need to load the dishwasher myself tonight. I'm so lazy, don't judge. It wouldn't be so bad if I actually felt healthy right now.
I just wanna work out, get back into a normal routine, and feel healthy again!!
And one more random thought- any talk around sports (currently college football) makes me crave chicken wings. So we had some for dinner tonight. Why hasn't anyone invented a portion cup wide enough to dip your wing in sideways?
I'm currently on day 12 of being sick with the flu I'm sick of being sick!! Also, totally random I've been waaaaay into football this season and I'm counting down the days until I watch my Texans play this weekend!
All this flu talk is making me want to get a flu shot. My boss says flu shots don't work, but I've gotten them before and they usually do, but not always.

I mean, who really dips like this?
Ok. That's all I got.
Haha I was just complaining to H about this last week.
Teeah - which airline did you book with for Cancun? We are going in June. We've been debating whether to use my free flights from work, or pay for them ourselves so we can be on our airline and have the free business class upgrade.

Delta, we're going the end of April. I haven't seen tickets this cheap since last year, they've been around $400.

You can still get the flu, the symptoms are typically less severe with the shot. You can do the flumist too. Doooo it, fashion.
I had my annual mammogram this morning. I am breast cancer free.
:Y:
I'm getting my first mammogram next year. I'll only be 36 but the dr recommended it within the next 2 years so I'm going for it. Are they painful? I can see my boob being smooshed into a pancake

Yay Mav!
It drives me irrationally insane when people put paperwork on my keyboard or chair when I am away from my desk. I have a clearly labeled in-box on the corner of my desk that I check several times throughout the day. My in-box is even closer than walking all the way to my keyboard or chair...it is there for your convenience...USE IT.
VABlue--I wouldn't say it's painful, but it's uncomfortable. I have small boobs, so I don't know if that makes it more or less uncomfortable. They do get smooshed in a vice device. Mine went really fast, just 4 scans (2 for each breast) and then I was done. I was scared because they found a bunch of nodules last year, so I had to go for additional screenings. But they were all benign.
Get it done though, no matter what. This is so easy to detect/prevent early, ya know?
Oh wow. That's scary, mav. So glad everything looks ok!
