Classes: dance type classes like Zumba, Jazzercise, Fit Barre, Pilates, etc. I cannot, however, get into spinning and boot camp stuff. Just don't like them.
setting up times w/ my trainer makes me work out more, in general, because then I feel like I'm somewhat accountable to someone, and I don't want to "waste" a meeting with him by not being able to keep up/do what he has planned. In the past I met with him about 3x/month, but I think I'm going to cut back to once every 3 weeks or so now that I'm more comfortable about being in the gym.

I am a work out at home kind of girl. I've done Insanity but have recently moved on to Barre3. I like that I can do it anytime without driving anywhere. When I have extra money though Pilates on a reformer is my favorite thing in the entire world!
I also have been loving my heart rate monitor/calorie counter. It is very motivational to keep pushing myself to keep my heart rate elevated. And it is fun to see how many calories were burned in the end!
the only downside is that I also do weight lifting routines on some days, and even though I know the health benefits of it, the calorie count at the end is disappointing.
Oh yes I totally agree. Only 300 hundred calories. Man what a rip off lol. I like doing my Body Attack class because I can easily burn 600 in an hour. So productive!
Just dance on the wii. I do ab work in between songs. It is pretty fun!
This is what I do, too, I do 5 circuits of Jillian Michaels "No More Trouble Zones" strength training and I do a Just Dance song between each circuit. Or I solely do Just Dance, which doesn't feel like working out because it's really fun.
Crossfit. It's the only thing I've ever done that has truly kept me motivated and wanting to go back.
This. At first it was the amount of money I was paying per month that made me go 3 or 4 times a week, and then it was the community and how it made me feel.
I enjoy following the bodyrock.tv (now dailyhiit.com) workouts. HIIT training that I can do at home. It's a different workout each time so I don't get bored, plus the workouts kick my butt!
I also enjoy running when I have the time and the weather is nice.

I'm a group fitness junkie, so if it's happening in a room with music and other folks, I'll probably like it quite a lot. I used to stick to mostly dance based workouts, but have branched out in recent years and really enjoy weights and more athletic based classes, too.
I like group fitness classes. I go to Zumba, Latin hip hop and turbo kick regularly. I also started running over the summer. I like running outside when it's warm. I don't like the treadmill as much but I do like that I can watch tv while I do it - I bring my nook tablet and watch mad men on Netflix.

I was doing a step class for awhile and I loved it, even though it kicked my ass.
Now I'm working PT and it doesn't work with my schedule anymore. Boo.
I've been doing home workouts from pinterest. Having a different one to do each day helps me.
I did C25K once. I liked the structure a lot and did run a 5K. Unfortunately, running makes my hemmis hellish, and I just can't put myself through that anymore.
I've only done it 3 times as I busted my knee (not because of it) but running outside really made me feel good. I can't wait to start again: I just felt really invigorated despite coughing up a lung (was a 20+ a day smoker until yesterday).
In general my problem isn't enjoying the actual exercise but making myself go there. As H and I went running together it forced me to go start with.
Walking/running. Indoors. I was walking/running outdoors but the weather is getting too hot and I don't want the sun to cook me (I work out after work).
I'd never do classes or walk/run with someone because I use that time to zone out.
Kettlebell and HIIT type training. I like high intensity, low time sort of things. I have just started the blogilates June challenge and love it. I like that sort of stuff. I would rather go super hard for an hour versus medium impact for an hour.
LOL now I see this is an old thread and I answered it long ago.

I really enjoy classes. I also get discouraged easily so if I don't feel different or start seeing results then I am more likely to quit. I recently started doing Bar Method classes. It is essentially a ballet/pilates hybrid. My abs and butt have never felt better.
Running outside for sure. Burn a ton of calories, love the scenery/fresh air, and feel like I accomplished something for the day.
I can't stand cardio machines - the dreadmill is the WORST. I run 1 min and think 10 should have passed.
I also do Zumba classes fairly often - it's a kick-ass workout (I typically burn somewhere in the 600-700 range) and it FLIES by.
I do some strength-training DVDS - mostly Jillian Michaels but also Brazil Butt Lift (LOL) and the key there is to mix it up. For example, I mix in 30 Day Shred but am breaking some sort of law I'm sure by not doing it for 30 days straight. I just can't. I do 30 day shred 1 day, then No More Trouble Zones, then Brazil Butt, etc.
Now that it's gotten warmer, I do my runs in the morning - it's hard, getting up earlier, but I don't have to run and be miserable (because running can be tough enough) and then it's done for the day. For workout days where I workout after work, the key there is for me to do it as soon as I walk in the door - do not pass go, just head straight to the bedroom to change and get the DVD going. If I sit down for just "a few minutes," it is near impossible to get my ass up again.
Before my pregnancy, I was a runner. 3+ miles every day, unless I was training for half, which I did the week I got pregnant.
After, I can't find the time to run, which upsets me. The only thing that I've been able to get to stick is paying a shit ton of money for a personal trainer that schedules me in twice a week. I do interval cardio, weight training and TRX when I'm there.
