Just an update...had my parents and brother see the house as well to see if anyone got any bad vibes in the house. Everyone agreed to the lack of bad vibes. We gave our best offer and the seller countered ten grand higher. We said our best offer was really our best offer and we'd look at other houses. A day later, they came back and accepted our best offer and we're writing the agreement this weekend. It's exciting and a little scary. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that nothing creepy happens as I might be living there for a few months alone at first. Thank goodness for the dogs! Currently researching smudge ceremonies just in case!

Congrats! FWIW, I would totally buy it. I used to work in a small office where the previous person in my position had been murdered (stabbed) in that office. (by her husband - I was safe) The blood stains kept coming back in the carpet until the landlord finally replaced it all. If that didn't creep me out, yours wouldn't either.

Now if it was the Murder House from American Horror Story....

Oh my goodness chronoptomist having the blood stains come back would be horrible!!!  They really should have replaced it from the start.  Geez.
