The board will go down for maintenance tonight sometime around midnight pacific time. Hopefully (cross your fingers!) it will be back up by the time everyone wakes up tomorrow.
They ditched the confusing login system they were using, so you shouldn't have any problems. You can log in with either your username & password from here or your email & password that you created on the test board. (They did stress that the email login is more private/secure, so it's best to go that route.) Remember that if you registered for a new account on the test board it will not exist here, so you'll have to create it again. If anyone has problems you'll be able to post on the help board without logging in so we can troubleshoot it.

I never followed any of the instructions for logins from the previous thread. With the ditching of the confusing login stuff that you mentioned does this mean I can log in per usual?

I was wondering this too because I never went to the test board.

Yes. After you log in they will ask you to confirm your email (if its not valid enter a new one so you'll receive the activation code) and enter a new password (or the same one you currently use, if you don't want to change it). From then on you'll log in with the new email and password.

Hi Ellie. I'm having trouble signing in. It thinks I'm a guest. Then when I hit "login" it knows I'm signed in as gibbinator. But when I come back to the forum, I'm a guest again

They are working on a fix for this. In the meantime you should be able to log in if you use private browsing - ctrl shift p for IE & FF or ctrl shift n for Chrome.

"New" button works for me.
Also, I had to use the option to "link" the previous account over and was able to log-in that way. It also had the "guest" option yet at the same time showed me currently logged in the top corner. Doing the "link account" thing (logging in again under previous username/password) got me back here where I can post.
