Family Doc Rec in Sarasota area

I am looking for a new family doctor. I have been seeing the same family doctor for ~5 years but am no longer happy with him. He has a larger practice now (great for him) but now spends less time with his patients. It seems like I am in the office with him <5 minutes and he just comes in to write a script and leave. I don't feel he is listening to me and I need a change.

I am not a huge fan of medicine so I would rather have a doctor help me find natural ways to fix issues ... My major one right now is high blood pressure, I don't want to have to take medication for it if not necessary. I would rather work with a doctor to lower it naturally but he is too quick to write a script and not listen to my needs.

We are in South Sarasota County so someone in the North Port / Venice / Englewood area would be preferred. I am willing to go to Sarasota if needed.

I really liked her. She has a holistic approach, spends lots of time getting to know you, and she isn't one to just write a script. I live in Tampa now, and I haven't found a family doctor like her anywhere. She wasn't taking new patients, but some how I finagled my way into her practice.

I would also highly recommend Dr. O'Connell. I second everything moonstone said about her.
