I'm throwing DH a surprise 30th bday party. I want to use FB to invite most his friends, since it's quick and easy. (And the party isn't anything fancy - I rented out a local bar.)
Is there a way to invite everyone and create the event on FB without him seeing it? I won't invite him (obviously) but I'm worried that when people RSVP to it, it will show up on their walls, and he will see. Can I block him from seeing it?
I tried blocking people from seeing it, but I am not so sure you can. I know you can block him from the invite, but as far as it showing up on walls, I am not sure

I think if it's a private event, it won't show up.
Or, you could try giving it some random name, so when people RSVP it says "John Doe is attending Movie Night at Clown School" or something instead of "Surprise Party."
