I'm okay with him not pulling out my chair or helping me with my coat.
Chair, never. Sometimes for the rest of them (except smoking, don't smoke) but I wouldn't say regularly. He would give up his seat to someone who needed it, but then so would I.

He doesn't pull out chairs for me, because I find that to be really awkward - I never know when to sit down, and find that I'm not close enough to the table and have to scootch.
He does give me his hand/arm sometimes on icy sidewalks or tricky stairs, but this is mostly because I have a terrible sense of balance.

Pulls out your chair for you? Not really, I'm pretty independent and he can't get to the chair fast enough if he tried. Help you remove or put on your coat/jacket? Chivalry is pretty much dead around here. I consider myself to be pretty independent, but some of these once in awhile would be nice. It isn't that H is unkind, he can just be a little clueless.
Pulls out your chair for you? No. Help you remove or put on your coat/jacket? No. Offer you his arm when walking? Yes. I have terrible peripheral vision so it's to keep me safe. I use to bump into people a lot more often than I do now. Also we hold hands/I hold his arm 99% of the time we're walking together because we like to hold hands. Offer you his hand when you have to climb up/down steps? (Outside steps, not in the house) If they're unsafe looking or slippery for some reason, yes. Also if they're really high up/big spaces between them. I also have bad balance in addition to my terrible peripheral vision. If you were on a crowded bus/train/subway, would he offer his seat to an elderly or visibly pregnant woman? Yes. If you smoke, does he offer to light your cancer stick cigarette? Neither of us smoke, so no.

He will help me when we are going up or down a steep hill so I don't slip and fall (not usually on stairs though). We haven't really ever encountered a situation in which there wasn't enough seating for everyone, but I'm sure H would give up his seat for an elderly person or pregnant woman. He seems to be more sympathetic to pregnant women now that he has witnessed it firsthand. He doesn't do any of the other things though.
Help you remove or put on your coat/jacket? Yes, if I ask.
Offer you his arm when walking? Yes.
Offer you his hand when you have to climb up/down steps? (Outside steps, not in the house) He'll check to see if I need it. I'm fairly clutzy
If you were on a crowded bus/train/subway, would he offer his seat to an elderly or visibly pregnant woman? Yes.
If you smoke, does he offer to light your cancer stick cigarette? I don't smoke, so NA.
When he jizzes on your face, does he hand you tissues or towel to clean up? yes, but this only happened once when I pulled away from a beej, just a little too soon.

Pulls out your chair for you? Rarely. I don't like it, and I think he knows that.
Help you remove or put on your coat/jacket? If he gets to my coat before me, yes.
Offer you his arm when walking? Or hand, yes.
Offer you his hand when you have to climb up/down steps? (Outside steps, not in the house) When the situation calls for it, yes. I can handle regular steps myself, lol.
If you were on a crowded bus/train/subway, would he offer his seat to an elderly or visibly pregnant woman? He doesn't sit unless it's pretty empty, just in case I want or someone else wants a seat.
If you smoke, does he offer to light your cancer stick cigarette? I don't smoke.
My H is a gentleman through and through. He'd totally be old-movie chivalrous if I let him (you know, jacket over the puddle and all), but I am pretty independent and he knows that, so everything he does really depends on the day/situation. It doesn't stop with me, though - he's a "do anything for anyone" kind of guy, and is really good and kind to most people, sometimes to a fault.

No No No Yes Yes Don't smoke.
He is generally pretty chivalrous, will offer to carry things for me, offers to be the one who drives, helps other people out, but has never really been one to pull out chairs. That would be weird, lol
