The babies are always in the box, but not in the cake. Often, someone will "bury" it before serving to maintain the "you have to buy the next king cake" tradition.
Hey, Kore, I just ate some Randazzo's and the baby was totally in the cake. Usually, you can see it sticking out a little on the bottom. I have seen them the other way though.
I wonder how they get around the toys-in-food law. We can't even get Kinder Surprise eggs in the US, & that toy is completely separate from the chocolate :-(

Yeah, the one that always comes to our office definitely has the baby baked inside. :-)
