I honestly don't want an admin who posts regularly on ML. I would, however, think that global mods would pay more attention to ML and lurk more. We're the busiest board on GBCN, by a large margin, and have a sort of unruly reputation for shit like this. It stands to reason we probably need a global mod more than most other boards.
I agree that having an admin who isn't on ML is probably best, someone who isn't so caught up in our weird dramas.

Can I ask a question about IPs? I feel like I should know the answer to this, but I don't.
So, I do not have a static IP. At certain intervals or whenever I turn off my router, I am assigned a new IP by my ISP. This is true for a lot of people. My ISP, however, recycles the same IP addresses. I know I will have the same one pop up every so often, but I have only ever watched for that one, so I don't know how often it happens.
I presume that this is the case for everyone else who does not have a static IP, so somebody picks up what gets put down, and I pick up somebody else's. My question, then, is what are the odds of a troll getting my (or anyone else's) IP randomly, or vice versa? If a troll is IP banned, and I am later randomly assigned the IP, will I therefore be banned? IDK if anybody even IP bans anymore.
ETA: Never mind! Ellie sort of answered it while I was typing.
