wawa, your bathroom transformations are ridiculous! They definitely put our DIY reno to shame hah!
Here is our bathroom gut:
Before:
After:
Not shown but we have a white shower curtain with some seer-sucker like detailing. We've also replaced the mirror with a longer one with a thicker frame.

Everyone's B&As look amazing!
Wawa, I love your bathrooms, and I hope this doesn't come out weird, but I love that you used some non-gray neutrals. I love gray as much as the next H&Ger, but I miss seeing some warm neutrals too!
I posted my kitchen the other day, but my half bath holds a dear spot for me because it was our first room to be completed. Susie- I always love seeing your living room because we share a paint color

After:
Our back yard was the first really big transformation.
Here's from our old house, our first big D&R project. We built a small landing deck and paver patio. Before we just had small concrete steps off the back and a small concrete patio with tons of mulch.

Here's a sliver of the mini kitchen makeover I did! New floor, resurfaced the laminate counters, new backsplash, curtains, painted the cabs and new hardware, did it in installments (about 8 months between painting the cabs and finally redoing the counters) but I only spent about $1200!
(Sorry if those are blurry, they're only on my phone!)
I haven't been online to "play" in such a long time but couldn't pass up participating in this thread I was so proud of the kitchen at our last house!
The house was horrendous when we bought it. The kitchen being the worst. The ceilings were dropped to 7', it was really closed off from the rest of the house, the cabinets were falling apart, etc. It was disgusting.
Before:
What you can't see from this picture is that the kitchen was about 4' shorter in length than the outcome.
After:
Obviously not for everyone but we loved it! I painted the cabinets, we installed the wood floors, rehabbed the "island", tore the west wall down into a half wall to open the space up, etc. Man I loved that kitchen.

Late to this, but i am LOVING seeing the backyard transformations. It's making me itch to get out there this spring and make our backyard useable.
Which of course isn't going to happen...but it's fun to dream.
Thanks for the compliments - the master we settled on the Halcyon Green (which was the one in the middle. Not quite the super deep Underseas, but still a pretty rich color) And agreed to whoever commented on the non-grey neutrals in the hall bath. I wasn't totally sold at first - that one was mostly MH's design, but it's really grown on me. It just feels so warm in there. Of course...it's also actually really warm in there since the main trunk of the downstairs HVAC runs right under it and it has no exterior walls....but the colors help!
These are all so fun to look at!! Jacquie I want to see more of your house; I love how you completely transformed your kitchen!! I've never done a PIP...hope this works...this is the before/after of my daughter's room
pitterwoo - Please to be telling me how you refinished your bathroom vanity. That's almost exactly what we'd like to do to our bathroom vanities
I refinished that vanity by stripping down to bare wood and reapplying stain and then poly on top. It did come out really nicely, but I think the Polyshades that I linked to in your house thread would be perfect for this too if you're going from light to dark. It's a lot less work. If you want to know more about refinishing we could start a new thread about it. There are others here as well who know their stuff.
I've never PIP before so hopefully this works! I have a lot of before and afters, so it is hard to pick one I think the first floor changes I made to my old house are my favorite, though. I like reminding myself of all the different phases it went through in the time I lived there, especially when I get frustrated how long it takes me to do things now due to financial and time constraints.

So sorry for so many pics! I'm a chronic lurker and am trying to slowly change that. I saw this thread days ago but couldn't get to a computer to PIP until now.

The first before/after is our kitchen. We did a complete gut and remodel on the house but this was the most dramatic change. (I should add we didn't do this work ourselves) Before
After
Then DH and I tackled the basement by ourselves. It had been a separate unit that was disgusting. We tore everything down the studs and started over. We did hire out the eletrical and drywall but did everything else.
basement guest bedroom
after (I was pretty excited about this because the only things we bought new were the bookcase and nightstands.)
I don't have anything major as we haven't needed to do any reno just decor in this house:

I mostly lurk here for ideas but I remember when you posted this, I loved the curtains you used so much I got them for my guest room. I have had more people comment on how much they love them so thanks!
Great DIY inspiration pictures here. Hats off to all the beautiful tilework too because as someone who tackled on tile project, I can safely say that I hate it enough to never do it again. I'm amazed at all the bathrooms and the kind of transformation a little bit of paint and a change of hardware can do.
Late to the game: Most of our stuff is with paint, very little full remodels (I'm saving that for the bathrooms!)
Laundry room (first one is with seller's stuff):
Guest Room (still need to add curtains and maybe something over the headboard), this is also the second green we used, we used a tinted primer with the first green and it was "too" saturated:
Nursery for both my boys (didn't know they would be boys when we decorated though), the color is more true in the 2nd pic:
