We just left Amelia's Dr. The fever that she started with Friday spiked again last night so we are worried about infection. She tested negative for flu but now we are waiting for urine results. The catheter was no fun for either one of us. But we think she is improving and getting back to herself. She slept 18 of 24 hours yesterday, poor peanut. She only weighs 19.5 pounds too, I'm seriously ready for her to get her appetite back I wish she could tell me what she would like to eat, I'd make her whatever she wants.
The week of 5th birthday extravaganzas is finally over. I'm glad Quinn had a great time, but man am I pooped. Oh well, I figured its his last birthday as a singleton, might as well make it special. He did tell me this morning that his wish when he blew out his candle was that baby Peaches (what he calls the baby) was out. He's the best.
And on the baby Peaches front, I scheduled my anatomy scan for the 21st! But I will only need it for checking body parts and such, since I have now undergone the Sage Baby Sex Prediction Method (patent pending). He has determined that I am having a boy. We will see if he's right on the 21st. Tasha, if he is, maybe he should start charging or setting up consultations or something. The only problem if he is right will be Q. He is very convinced that I'm having a girl and will not even let me say it might be a boy. I'll be very interested in what happens if it is a boy.

I hope little A feels better soon, Sara! Poor thing.
I've reached the 3rd trimester, which is exciting, but even more so is the news I got this morning that I passed my 3 hour glucose test. I'm starting to deal with more frequent heartburn, which is never fun. I had it nonstop with B but barely had it with M, so I was hoping to be lucky again this time. Other than that, doing good.

I can't wait to see if he's right. He's pretty much never wrong, but I'd feel bad for Quinn if he doesn't get the sister he is positive he's getting. Although Beckett really wanted a brother this time and was disappointed for about 5 minutes after he found out it was a girl. Now he says he'd rather have another sister. Oh, and I still say you are having a girl, but you know my track record vs that of my husband!
Sara, I hope A feels better soon. She is such a cutie! Stinks that she doesn't feel good.
Last week Ethan's first tooth popped through. Yeah! Now I can see the second one too. It's hard to see them because if you put your finger up to try and pull his chin down, he sticks out his tongue. So I can only see them if he is laughing or opens his mouth. But one is definitely there and the other is starting. The end of the week he wasn't totally himself, but it must either be the teeth or a growth spurt. Thankfully over the weekend he seems to be back to normal. It was killing me because he wasn't letting me put him down on his activity mat or in his jumperoo and that makes for a LONG day when I am not able to let him do his own thing for a little bit. Momma needs to get a few things done.
He is still doing great with eating. Anything I have given him so far he has eaten. I'm hoping this continues forever! I think I may try fruits with him. So far we have only done veggies and rice cereal.
Can this post serve as an official eviction notice? Bc I want this baby OUT.
I'm done. Lets get this show on the road. And I'm super suck of people predicting that ill have the baby this weekend! Or by the end of the week! BC YOU DON'T KNOW THAT! Stop jinxing it! Lol

People are going to tell you to have sex, walk, and eat spicy food.
Are you still sick, because I recommend sneezing. HARD.
Amellis how's your little one doing? She was cranky pants the other night too when Amelia was starting with her deal.
And the answer to the Tylenol question from my Dr was as I suspected. Try not to give Tylenol unless she gets really cranky and uncomfortable. He would rather let the fever do its job to fight the infection. He prefers to try and keep her temp down by getting cool liquids in her. A little Tylenol can be good right before bed so she doesn't wake up with another spike. I love her Dr. He felt so bad about the tests but promised me he would never order anything for my daughter that he wouldn't order for his own.
I took her in the shower with me and she conked right out after that. No idea why she was being a crab. We went to the grocery and visited with Luis at work for a little while and she was fine. Luckily (I never thought I would say this) they work up at 6AM the past two days.
Just got back from OB and he said that my incision is healing up nice and I can now carry the baby in the car seat and drive .... ummm, ok, I'll start doing that now, because I haven't done that yet
Overall Shane is doing well. I'm taking him to a different pedi this week to get a weight check and find out what's going on with his PKU. I had taken him back to the original pedi again last week, and they fucked up his jaundice test results (well, what they told me on the phone versus what the test results said ... multiple fuck up's piss me off, and to me it's not worth fighting them, because I know expect they're going to do the same in the future and I don't want to constantly wonder if whomever is talking to me knows what they're talking about).
Nights are rough, but then he looks at me with his big eyes, and it's worth it all.
Aegis- trust your gut. You will find the best pedi for you all.
Alzi- most FTM go late so don't get your hopes up, but hoping for the best for you. :-)
In other news Im 32 weeks tomorrow and still can't believe we may only have 6 weeks until we meet our little guy (if he keeps up his brothers record) although I'd be happier with another 8ish weeks so I can really get everything done that I want to. I've started nesting a little and wanting to make sure the nursery is ready.
Triston has been super lovey lately and it makes me so sad that he isn't going to be a singleton for longer. I'm starting to feel like I am making him grow up to soon. We met with a Speech Language Pathologist last week and should have her full report next week. They aren't recommending therapy right now because he is only slightly delayed at this time. We are getting him enrolled in a Mother's Day out program 2 days a week in hopes that will help him with his talking. We are also looking into getting him into Tumble Tots at the local Y.
MacKenzie is going to be 3 in 1 short month! I can't even believe it. I have started planning her birthday and I have to say, I am kinda jealous of her birthday extravaganza. We are having a My Little Pony party and I am working on hiring a pony and everything. Since this is MacKenzie's first party with all her little friends, I want it to be memorable!
Madeline has two teeth and I swear she is working on ten more! This teething stuff is serious business. MacKenzie popped out teeth no problem, but Maddie is having a heck of a time. But when she isn't bothered by it, she is her happy, smiley self. We are still nursing, but I am considering weaning her off soon; maybe by 8 or 9 months. With FCAT and EOC testing and all of my paperwork/meetings, pumping at work is just becoming too hard. She is eating solids now (not baby food, like true solids... she won't TOUCH baby food) and finally taking formula without any issues.
Things are good here! Baby is head down and I am starting to prepare my VBAC battle with my dr. Sigh. H and I had a really good discussion the other night about how I get emotional whenever the dr and I start getting into it about RCS vs VBAC. He is right, so I need to practice my argument in a logical, nonemotional way. I absolutely will not consent to a RCS at this point so it will be interesting to see what happens with that. The dr said if the baby is around 0 station and I am slightly dilated he will "let" me try for a VBAC. I am going to do some natural things to get labor going and try to bring him down, but there is only so much I can do. I am really getting excited to meet the little guy! Poor Zoe has no idea what she is in for, lol!!
I love how much Zoe is talking these days. She is getting so much more verbal and is starting to even put words together. She is such a happy kid and I can't wait to see her as a big sister. Sometimes I feel bad that she won't have more alone time with us, but I think it will be fun to watch them interact when Speck is older.
Update on Amelia's sickies. She's back to 100%. Dr called today and urine was good. She's fever free and back to rearranging the furniture.
It's amazing how 1 minute I'm ready to take her to the ER on a Sunday night and the next minute it's like nothing ever happened. I suspect this is only the beginning. Little stinker.
Met with new pedi this morning, and it felt like a much better "fit" for us. Shane's up to 8lbs, so he's 3 ounces over his birth weight at 2 weeks 2 days. Doctor was very happy with that, and so am I. Still waiting to hear back on repeat PKU test, but the doctor assured me they'd follow up with the lab and see what they can do to get the results ASAP.
My potential induction is scheduled for 3/22 (41 weeks). I don't know if I can hold it together mentally to make it that far. Lol. But at least I see the light at the end of the tunnel!!
