My HSG is next week. The doctor was okay with doing IUI the same cycle, but we are taking it slow. We will do meds + sonogram dating for ovulation + timed intercourse starting next month.
I think "unexplained" is often a euphemism for age related (for those of us over 32).
I agree with the bolded. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have had trouble getting KU if I was 22. Damn those old eggs.
I know...
In some ways it's too bad that society doesn't work the way it used to (in the 'old days'). I'm all for women going to school & having careers - but at what cost? I mean, we're delaying marriage longer and many of us put off having kids until we're in our 30's and then we find ourselves completely screwed. SUCKS!
I'm just a "lucky" one who has a faulty reproduction system at a younger age. But faulty without outward symptoms. I didn't know anything was wrong until I had blood work and tests. I almost wish there had been signs a few years ago....

It sucks for everyone at any age when you actually WANT kids. I have a friend who, in college said she never wanted kids. She spent a lot of $ on pregnancy tests, only to find out once she got married to a man she WANTS to have kids with, that she can't. That's gotta suck.
