It was good! For the first time, I watched it with the closed captions on, and this helped my understanding of the storylines immensely, lol.
I felt really bad for Tyrion when he was talking with his father, it must really suck to be blamed for your mother's death and also have your father say he doesn't think you are his. I worry about his relationship with his lady, as his father said next woman he catches in his bed, he will hang.
I am excited to see how the relationship between Joffrey and Margaere evolves, looks like dear queen mummy doesn't care for her at all, should be interesting
I look forward to seeing how Jon Snow fares with that new group he's running with, hope he finally hooks up with that red haired chick.
I hope Sansa gets to go home and that Lord Baelish doesn't screw her over.

I really liked it. I'm interested to see how Joffrey and Margaere's relationship develops and if he will be a cruel douche to her too. But it seems like he will use her to boost his image since she likes working with the poor.
The dragons are awesome! That little girl was scary though.
I also hope that Sansa gets to go home.
I love Tyrion and I also felt bad for him when he was talking to his father. Tyrion is really the only Lanister worth anything so it's sad that his family thinks so little of him.
I've read the books so I technically know what happens this season. My real interest is seeing how they play out the book storyline into the show. What they'll add or deviate from etc.
I'm also curious to see where in the book 3 storyline they'll end season 3 since they're breaking this book up into two seasons right?
I've read the books so I know what happens in terms of each of the storylines. Book 3 is being split in two seasons. I have a strong hunch where they end this season. If I am right, I can't wait to see how they show it.
I didn't read the books. I read the synopsis online though and I hope the show does not play out like the books. What do you guys think elfinia7osumelissa? In general, do you want the show to play out like the books? (without spoiling it for everyone else, of course!)
I hope the show remains true to the books. It would greatly change the direction of the story if they didn't and I can't even imagine what that story would look like. Altering small things like Tyrion's battle scar is one thing but big things messes with the overall theme too much. As it is, I'm curious to see how the Bram storyline plays out this season since some his story was changed.
I want the show to follow the books for the most part, especially the big stuff. Messing with a few major events in book 3 would completely alter the story. So I think the show has to remain true to the books to keep the basic trajectory the same.
I don't trust Lord Baelish at all - I find it hard to believe he will actually help her leave Kingslanding, and not force her into prostitution or something. Plus, she wouldn't go back to Winterfell, would she? There's not exactly anything or anyone there. Not that she knows that...
The third book was my favorite of the series thus far (I haven't finished Dance w/Dragons but can't imagine it being as good as ASoS). I do hope they stay true to the book.
The premiere was good - not wow, good - but that's always the way of it with a premiere, with having to do a bit of catch-up and setting the stage for what's to come.
I do feel for Tyrion - he is the one who really helped to save the day with his pyrotechnics at the Battle of Blackwater Bay. If nothing else, he held Stannis off until Tywin's troops could arrive. Also, Peter Dinklage is just so darn good.
Sansa would do well not to trust Littlefinger. He sees Cat, his "lost love" when he looks at her and that can't bode well for her.
Loved the back and forth with Cersei and Margery - Cersei has met her match with this one.
Ser Jorah didn't look to happy to see Ser Barristan Selmy...can't wait to see how that plays out.
I love the books (even the slow 4th and 5th books). I hope they don't deviate too much because I think GRRM is on his way to a great conclusion to the series.
The 3rd book is so good that I think we're guaranteed a great 3rd and 4th season
