I don't want to go into details, but I could use some positive vibes and support. I made good money, but I was getting really drained and felt pretty stuck there, so I am trying to see this as a blessing in disguise and keep a positive attitude. Funny gifs are also much appreciated.
What a shock. I hope something better comes along for you soon.
Incidentally, I've loved hearing how happy you've become over the years. I think you made a lot of really neat choices and moves and it really paid off for you. I know that's not a funny gif, but maybe will make you smile.
I'm sorry.I don't mean to sound like a cliche but sometimes in the worst moments, come the greatest blessings. It's totally understandable to feel crappy right now.But this could be a turning point for something else in your life to happen. The best advice I got from someone was...feel it,deal with it,then move on.So,feel it all..then when you're ready make plans and move forward.Good luck. (((hugs)))
I don't have a college education, which holds me back a lot. I do have over 10 years of work experience with the same company so there is that. I plan to at least go back to school and hopefully find work that will go along with that.
My BF is so supportive and is willing to pay the bills in the house when I move in until I get a new job, and I will get the full unemployment benefit allowed for over a year.
I have made some mistakes, I am not perfect. I have faith that something better suited for me will come along.

It has been so impressive to watch you this past year. You are smart, you work hard, and darn it, you have one of the best attitudes I've ever seen. You'll kick this situation's ass too, of this I am sure.
But for today, Stop at the store on the way home and pick up a bunch of wine and freezer pizza. Everyone gets one day of "FUCK I LOST MY JOB" mourning
Thanks guys. I have always prided myself on how well I did with work considering that I didn't go to college. I am hoping that work experience helps me out. It's a rough time to go through this, but at least I won't be paying rent anymore after next month.
