O.k. - I'm still watching, but man... the writers are doing a good job of making me 2nd guess it.
Claire - I am glad that she had the upper hand. I wanted to hit Emma too (especially after her "too soon?" comment) and was SO glad that Claire did.
But- A - she wakes up. Hair perfectly done, FULL make-up. Really? And then B - she really, actually thinks that she and "MY SON!" can just get up and walk out and no one will know/stop them? Come on.
Then Ryan/Mike/What's her face at the house.... I just don't get how Joe and his guys can be THAT stealthy. And while I get it that Jacob now has a taste for blood, he's also magically a ninja too who doesn't make a bit of sound?
Eh... I'm still watching, but. Some of their writing is just SO preposterous. And Claire is just DUMB. I don't get why Ryan is attracted to her.

Exactly. The FBI is trying to catch a serial killer and his loonies, and only 3 agents go to the house of an affiliate to get information. Sure. Plus, am I remembering things incorrectly, or didn't they assume that he was in danger?

YES! This too.
And why is everywhere they go cloaked in darkness and they seem unable to find their way around in, but Joe's followers seem perfectly adept at moving around w/ no problem at all?
Yeah, it's crazy that three people are going to show up to a house like that. Really. I'm hoping that they will work some of this out next season. I love the Ryan/Joe dynamic so I hope there is a lot of that still to come too.

They have night-vision embedded in their eyeballs. CLEARLY.

I was also surprised with the revelation about what Ryan did to his father's killer. Although it kind of makes sense after Joe's "we're not that different" comment. I don't think Joe knows about it though. I like this dynamic and I hope we get more interactions like that.
I was also thought it was crazy that only 3 agents go to the house. Like they wouldn't call for back up on the way there at least. The whole thing with the chick not getting cell service in the house was silly. I was like, really?
I do like the more aggressive Weston, although I was afraid for a minute he was going to get killed off in this episode. I'm glad that didn't happen.
I liked the confrontation between Claire and Emma. But I agree it was pretty dumb of her to think she could just walk out of that place. I still think Emma will try to kill off Claire if she gets the chance.
Next week's episode looks really good. I love that Roderick is the police contact.
