Well, I could get to water in less than 2 hours, but nothing really suitable for swimming in.. at least to my FL sensibilities. lol. I require white sands and clear water.
Yes, I do too. Or at least light brown sand and blue water. Definitely not dark sand or murky water. lol!
No, I have these from last year. I'm not buying anything new this year because I swear I'm going to lose weight. The first 2 I have in a different color...more greeny and different bottoms that fold over instead of tie.
Both in black. I've had it for a few years now and it still looks brand new.Â
Important questions:
Is this from JCrew? Do the bottoms go up higher, like The Suit- bikini? Would it cover stretchy belly skin? Do the ruffles go all the way around? I don't need another bathing suit, but this is really cute...

It's from J. Crew- the ruffles go all the way around but it sits pretty low on my hips. They so have some higher waist bottoms this year so you should check them out!
HiC - I love that suit, where is it from? And Waffles, I really like the greenish suit. Where is that one from?
See, I can get all my swimsuit shopping done here! Here's one I bought for vacation this year, and it was pretty flattering, as far as bikinis go. It's reversible!

I bought a white one from Lands End that I can't find anymore. The top looks just like the top of the white Marilyn Monroe dress, it's really sturdy and awesome. The bottom is not so great (even lined white leaves too little to the imagination) so I wear it with navy bottoms I got from JCP. They're a little higher in the waist and have ruching and ties on the side.

I bought this one last year for my honeymoon. It's my favorite swimsuit ever. I like it because like "The Suit" it has a retro vibe to it, and is very cute and flattering on. It also comes with a halter strap so if you're like me, you're not constantly tugging on the top.
I'm not a one-suit kinda gal. Last summer I bought 4 tops and 3 bottoms from VS that all mix and match, and then I have probably 10 more from the past 5 or so years that I still wear.
I'm at the beach or pool all the time during the summer, so this is how I am, except my mix-and-match suits are all from Target. I have five of the Mossimo bandeau bikini tops (plus a couple halters) with matching or coordinating bottoms, like this:
I also have a french top bikini from J.Crew like this one but in black:
(I have stayed away from J.Crew swim this year but just looking for that suit made me realize how much I'm missing out on! The Target prices are much easier to swallow when my sizing has been up and down the past few summers, though.)
Like cville, I mostly wear bikinis while pregnant, although this will be the first time I'll be nine months pregnant in the summer, so maybe I'll feel differently then. This is the Old Navy maternity one-piece she mentioned for anyone looking. It's really comfortable and flattering.
@weeble, I love your suit. Where did you get it?
@stellasmom, I love your second suit too. It looks great on you!
I will be very pregnant. I do not plan on wearing a bathing suit because I refuse to buy a new one and I don't think anyone wants to see me like that in a bikini.
