Now they are talking about the fact that it looks like they don't have much support (no terrorism network perhaps or a small not sophisticated one?) and no plan beyond actually setting off the bombs at the marathon. Had they gotten out of the city immediately...

I keep wondering why they stayed in town. Did they really think they could get away with it? With all the video footage and photos and security cameras?

Also, I heard a girl who went to HS with the 19-year old who's on the loose. She said when the FBI released the video yesterday, her first thought was that it looked like the kid she went to HS with, but the media was reporting that it was the missing Brown University student, so she didn't call the police or FBI. Uh, media, this is why it is really fucking important not to report incorrect information!

It really wasn't very smart. I guess they are local and had no where else to go? This feeds the assumption that they didn't have much support.

The guy that was on CNN earlier also went to HS with him. He said his circle of friends saw it as a joke. Like- Ha! That looks just like soandso, but didn't really think it could be him.

CNN is talking to their uncle now and is not showing the blocked off area. Strategic?

The camera crews in Cambridge have been moved away from whre they had been standing. They are evacuating people on whatever block they were on.

The Waterdown area (which is the one that was shown previously) seems to be quiet now.

I saw that. They are not certain, though. If they knew he had left the area, they would lift the shelter in place. From the looks of it, they are not sure where he is.
